Hi LOVEs!

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by and only 4 more days left till new years!! Yesterday I got to shoot with a talented FL photographer

Katherine

in collabo with

Haute Hibou

. Located in Captiol Hill, you can go there for a great selection of bohemian and hippie-chic clothing! We managed to shoot 5 outfits in 4 hours and of course we decided to shoot for NYE look! I already peeked a bit at the images, and.... Guess what?!?! WE KILLED IT! I really can't wait to share the look with you guys, so make sure to stay tuned! <3

I've noticed a lot of people are becoming so into non-colored sweaters, and I am not an exception. I do love sweaters in grey, white, and black! They are ridiculously stylish. Yet, sometimes I find myself get tired of wearing those, so I always seek for perfect warm colored sweaters. Then, right on time, I was reached out from

Idol Collective

(Yay for a local small business!! ), and luckily they carry

this amazing army green sweater

with elbow patched details! It's extremely cozy and such a playful piece! Whenever I pick a sweater, I always go for one size or 2 size up for an oversized silhouette.

To style this lovely sweater, I matched the color scheme with a pair of

camo skinny jeans

and a dark green bag. I layered it up with a

button down shirt

underneath and

blazer

over it. I love this layering technique because it never fails to be so chic and sophisticated! I finished the look by pairing these ultimate winter essentials - a

beanie

and

oversized scarf

- for extra coziness because the warmer, the better!!

A little awesome news from

Idol Collective

! They are offering

free shipping

all January in celebration of the new year! Plus my readers can get

15% off

with the special code "

AIKAIDOL15

," which you can get the sweater under $35! Don't forget to take advantage of it!! :)

Have a lovely Tuesday, my cute pies! ♥

Hi LOVEs! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Today's look is all about layering and edginess, and this is definitely one of my favorite ensembles in all-black with a touch of color. People tend to wear dark colors during winter, and so do I. However, I love playing with some hues and making the look both edgy and fun. That way, I don't feel dull and sad. This is especially when you live in a gloomy and rainy city like I do!

I'd been on the look-out for a chunky v-neck pastel sweater for the longest time, and I finally found it on sale at

ZARA

a while ago. I normally wear  a small size, but decided to go with one size up for an extra bulky silhouette. At the same time, I scored this

light maxi wrap skirt on sale

as well. It's impressive that I can rotate the slit to whatever position I want to! I can put it on the side, front, or back. I adore the combination of an oversized knit with a maxi skirt. Since I had scored the perfect pieces, I figured I should try it on right away, yet it's way too cold right now to wear the skirt by itself, so I paired it with leggings underneath. I love the contrast of their different textures. Whenever I wear a maxi skirt/dress, I always style it with a pair of platform shoes to add some extra height. I picked my all time favorite booties for the added slimming effect.

You can never go wrong with a

biker jacket

to create an edgy vibe. And if you have a printed black and white scarf, that's even better to emphasize the vibe. These items aldo help you beat the cold. To complete this edgy look,  I opted for a

dark red lip stick

, and of course my awesome hair is doing such an awesome job!

Hi LOVEs! HAPPY TUESDAY!
If you know me well enough, you know I am super crazy about heels, and there is no way I can NOT live without them! And I am talking about not just regular heels, like crazy ones!!!!! However, one of my fashion resolutions this year was to challenge myself to pull off outfits WITHOUT heels! I need to rest my feet yet still want to look chic and stylish!
The big reasons why I am obsessed with heels are I feel inferior a lot about my body proportion. 1) I am short with the height of 5' flat.  2) I have short legs with a long torso. 3) I have relatively a big face.

You might haven't noticed them, but these three things have been struggled me so much for a long time since childhood. You have no idea how many times I wished to change my body to those model type of figures. A small face, long arms and slender legs... Yet, clearly I can't modify my body, and you gotta embrace who you are and how you are born with, right? So wearing heels has definitely been a huge life savor to me. Also I realize that styling with knowing your body type is also a key to pull off any kind of looks! I believe I am not the only one who suffers own imperfection of the body and hopefully I will be one of the inspirations to those, even a little!

Whenever I wear flat shoes, I always make sure to create an "I" figure or to try to raise the eye sight up by wearing a hat or styling the hair with updo. So I combined with a pair of skinny jeans and a long coat and finished off the look by pairing a beanie. The beanie is red which is great and so bright that I can catch the first sight to the top, not to the bottom part when being seen. It's also all about feeling cozy and snug this season! I love layering up with a shirt and sweater and tossing my coat over the shoulder! It's super effortless yet on-trend!

I hope you like/love or enjoy my today's casual ensemble!
Stay warm dolls!
