Winter Wonderland with Free People

Happy February, LOVEs!
Most of you already knew that I am from Japan, where you can enjoy the beauty of 4 seasons. Seattle has a very similar climate, and this year, I am so happy to see more snow than last year because I just loved the scenery, covered with crisp white snow everywhere!
One of my childhood favorite activities was definitely playing in the snow - like making a HUGE snowman, having a snowball fight with my brother and cousins, and simply making my footsteps on the fresh, piled up snow!
Now I am grown up (doesn’t stop me from doing fun things with snow!) and always wished to shoot in the snow because it makes everything so beautiful with the perfect, charming, white backdrops.

I am so excited to collaborate with Free People to show you a minimal yet stylish and fun winter look, and here I am wearing a full outfit from Free People!!

Although my pink hair is always the best pop of color to my look, which pushes me to wear more neutral and black pieces, I sometimes crave for colors. I wanted to get this super hot pink chunky sweater, but it’s out of a budget. Then as I looking for a colored sweater, this red sweater grabbed my eyes! Loving the big V cut in the front and super cozy feel with an easy, effortless shape.
When it comes to layering with a sweater, I am currently digging to pair with a lightweight turtleneck and this Modern Cuff  Layering Top is so perfect because it’s so soft! And how pretty are the ruffle edges?! It’s been on constant rotation like crazy!

H&M Multi Colored Scarf, Transparent Clear Lens Glasses, Free people All Mine Sweater, Free People Modern Cuff Layering Top, Free People Ace High Rise Jeans, Free People Bobbi Chunky Pom Beanie, EGO Ankle Boots, Aika's Love Closet, Seattle Fashion B…

I also picked up these Ace High Rise Skinny to add to my denim collection. To be honest, when they first came in the mail and tried them on, I REALLY didn’t like them at all because of my short legs… If you are petite with short legs like me, you know the struggle is R E A L to find a perfect pair of jeans.
Then, my roommate suggested me to DIY some frayed hems! So she grabbed scissors and chopped the bottoms off around 6 inches and then cut the front parts even more - like 3 inches - to make such flattering frayed hem jeans! It was super easy! Now I am so obsessed with this pair! Never underestimate the power of being creative! :)

To top off this look, I chose this mega chunky pom pom beanie (also available in gray! ) My head was so warm while shooting in the snow at 28°F! It’s the coziest and chunkiest beanie EVER! So many people at there told me “I need your beanie!!!!” haha.
If you love my look, make sure to grab pieces for yourself before they are gone! Hope you enjoy this look, as well as the images that my sweet Asian cutie pie Ivy snapped!!
