I am not a whiny person at all, but I am getting SOOOO tired of this awfully bad weather in Seattle right now. Some people love rain, but trust me, you really don’t want it to rain for a whole month! It’s no joke! As I am writing, I can still hear the raindrops outside!

So, I thought it would be fun to talk about a transitional spring piece that you will definitely enjoy rocking, despite the colder weather.
To my surprise, I have never owned a shirt dress before. I am especially digging how many ways it can be worn right now. I knew a shirt dress was one of the best transitional pieces for spring; that’s why I created three completely different looks, restyling this statement olive shirt dress from Dian Von Furstenberg. I know you can’t still ditch your favorite sweater yet! And I am no exception either! I decided to pair one of my recent fall/winter picks - a black and white striped sweater - over the shirt dress. This way, it makes the shirt dress look like a perfect silky midi skirt!
I really love the slits on the side; they’re perfect for sex appeal. Still, bear feet do make you chilly. So, I use my go-to trendy solution -- Fishnet tights! This legwear trend isn’t going anywhere in 2017! Adding a bit of edginess to this chic and feminine outfit!

I recently received a lovely blogger mail from Kendra Scott. These dangling earrings are from her newest Spring collection! Aren’t they so gorgeous!? Kendra is always killing the game, especially with the details! I normally tend to go for rose golds, but I am so glad I finally get my hands on jewelry in antique brass. New season, new try!

I topped it off with a fur bag for some texture mix, and these striking head-turner heels! Perfect for when your outfit ends up comparatively simple - which is totally fine!
