3 Ways To Wear A Shirt Dress // Second Look: Dress + Biker Jacket

Happy April, LOVEs!!!!! Everyone seems so happy to see the fully bloomed Cherry Blossoms everywhere, and yes, my heart has been full of joy too!!!! Last Sunday, I had such an amazing photoshoot at UW with the beautiful cherry blossoms in the background; so I am really excited to show you guys what I am working on! You can see the sneak peek photo from HERE on my Instagram!

I am really happy to hear the positive feedback on how I styled the DVF statement shirt dress in three ways on the previous post for my first look! And, I am sharing the second look on today’s post!
This time, I just simply dressed up the shirtdress as-is (love these spring colored ones: HERE, HERE & HERE ), but with some added layers as the weather can still be so chilly. Because the second look vibe was feminine, I wanted to go for a little bit more edginess and comfort. A dress + biker jacket is one of the classic and major combos used to create a sweet & bold look. So, I threw on a cropped biker jacket and accessorized with a fedora and wool scarf.

What do you think of this double belting effect?
Personally, I am totally digging it. This DVF shirt dress has a cool attached belt that you can tighten in either the front or back, and it gives it a very fresh look. I also wrapped a statement belt along with the attached belt, like I have on here.

I am a sucker for high heels because 1) they make me look so tall & 2) I can totally cover my short legs (lol); but once in awhile, my feet are craving some comfort loving. When you think of comfy shoes, flats and sneakers probably come to mind. But, what about someone who still isn’t confident wearing those shoes like me? I think the perfect substitution is a pair of muled heels. Plus, mules are a big hit this season! The best part about them is that you still get the height and the elongated leg, but they’re comfortable enough to walk in all day long!

I am thinking of getting my hands on these cute ones for my updated spring wardrobe - HERE, HERE & HERE
