Hi LOVEs!!!!

Are you as happy as I am to finally feel the spring weather and to get to see all the oh-so-cute flowers blooming everywhere? Whenever spring has sprung, it always reminds me of my home: Tokyo, Japan. As you probably know, you can see wonderful cherry blossoms in Japan wherever you go during this season, and we have a fun outdoor party called

Hanami

to celebrate or enjoy the transient beauty of flowers with family, friends, or colleagues while we enjoy delicious food and drinks together. Sounds really enjoyable, doesn't it? Oh I miss THAT so much!

I was happy that yesterday was warm enough to bare some skin (Yes! Finally!) so I wore a bright red dress and a pastel pink sweater on top of it for a fashion/blogger event last night. I posted the look on my

Instagram

if you are curious to see it!

Although the temperature is warming now, on some days the winter chill remains. Today's look is for one of those days and is inspired by the spring vibe. I put on a flowery printed pink top and paired it with some skinny jeans. Instead of wearing boots, I decided to go for multi-colored sandals. I know it was too cold to wear them barefooted, so I layered with

black sheer tights

, and it worked! I have been looking for a perfect camel hat that can be wearable for all seasons, and look what I've scored recently from

ASOS

!!!

When in doubt, go find at

ASOS

! I adore its big wide brim. Plus, it definitely goes with any look and gives a nice touch of chicness. Color-wise, camel is better than dark ones like black and gray to give your look a brighter accent. Because I needed a few more layers, I chose my ZARA faux fur jacket to keep the "spring hue" going while bundling up.  For a little bling, these lovely accessories from

Rocksbox

do an amazing job! I can't help but be in love with them! Too cute not to wear them every day! If you like them and want to subscribe

Rockbox

's amazing jewelry, you can get a free one month subscription with the special code "

Hi LOVEs!!!!
When my new blogger friend, Diana, found me through Lookbook.nu, she contacted me to set up for meet-up, and I was so pleasure to meet her for the first time!! She was such a lovely girl and I knew we would be BFF immediately! We both are from overseas - she is from Kazakhstan, and I am from Japan - so I instantly felt really close to her without not knowing much. I wish I could spend more time while she was here because now she went back to Virginia, and I miss her so much!

I wore this look when we had a brunch together by Alki Beach, one of my favorite spots in Seattle. Unfortunately we didn't have a good luck on the weather. It was super gloomy and drizzling. Yup, welcome to Seattle! :p I kinda wanted to go for laid back style, so I decided to pick anything with loose fit. Pairing a sheer blouse and boyfriend jeans is my new favorite combo now! I styled it with my old khaki boots as my rain boots lol You can laugh at me because I am the type of girl who wears booties even when it rains.
I topped it off in my No.1 beloved faux fur jacket that I scored from Zara this season. I LOVE THIS JACKET to death. Don't think I am saying too much. It's an amazingly perfect jacket! Seriously can't get enough of everything about it. Pink pastel color, awesome fitting, its textures, and how warm it can keep me! My love affair with this number is growing every time I wear it. Even though spring is approaching and the sun is out more often, sadly it's still chilly and I have to bundle up. Whenever I am so lazy to style my hair, I always go for a fedora. It definitely helps me look effortlessly so chic. I wanna make a fashion proverb: "When doubt, go for a fedora. You won't regret it at all." Do you agree?

By the way, Diana is a Creative Director for IFBKSeoul, and I had a chance to be featured on there. You can read my interview HERE if interested.

Hope you all have a beautiful day!

Hi LOVEs!!! Happy Monday!
Today, I am showing off a combo that is currently a favorite of mine. Can you guess which items make up that combo? Yes, a fur coat, skinny jeans, and over-the-knee boots. I've been seriously obsessed with this super adorable fur coat I snagged on sale a few months ago at ZARA, and I practically can't take it off. Then, I got these thigh-high OTN boots recently from JustFab. I once saw how flattering the skinny jeans and OTN boots combo was on Olivia Palermo, so I definitely wanted to try if for myself. I LOVED IT!

Sometimes, I am eager to put simple pieces together to make a look that is greter than the sum of its parts. Like simply throwing on a sweater and wearing a pair of jeans. Of course, I still wanna keep things stylish. I believe these OTN boots are the magic component of this look, and you can also layer up with them on, so even better!! You can never go wrong with OTN boots!!! <3 I chose my beloved heart printed light knit (it's gifted from my dearest mom!!! ) to go with the ensemble.

When I wore this look, it was a perfect sunny day, which made it feel as if it was spring. So I wanted to enjoy the feeling by adding this newly added ice-blue mini bag from JustFab. I always adore anything in the pastel color-block, and I am so pleased with how I played things up with the fur coat and the bag. I decided to stick with a pink color palette for accessories and makeup to match the fur coat: Pink earrings, pink eye shadow and pink lipstick.

Hope you had an amazing weekend and cheers to a new month!

Hi LOVEs! Happy Monday!
I hope your new week is going to be fabulous! Can you believe that the first month of 2015 will have passed us by already in a few more days? I definitely can't believe it!

A few weeks ago it was my pleasure to work with a very talented local photographer, Mike. He was a suggested user on Instagram and I've been enjoying his work for a long time. It was first our time shooting in almost 4+ years. We had been s et up this photoshoot for the longest time until recently, so I'm glad we finally did and I am really excited to share the results! Here is the first set!

Since I've got this awesome silver/blond hair, I really wanted to showcase it as an integral part of my outfit on the first set. Well..... he totally killed it! I am just so overjoyed with how the color is changing every day and the hair looks totally different depending on the weather. If you follow me on my Insta (@AikasLoveCloset), you know that I snagged this lovely killer fur coat on sale at ZARA. I believe investing a little extra money on a coat is always the right choice during this the cold season, since it becomes the major piece of the whole look. I mean, if you have to wear a coat to keep warm, then be sure to make a statement, too!
Even though a lot of people (including myself ) are looking forward to the warmer weather, the reality is that the temperatures will stay low for a while. Thanks to this cute coat, I don't have to endure cold temperatures  anymore. It does a great job at keeping out the cold air, so lately I rather enjoy dressing up on chilly days! I adore its pale pink hue, fluffy textures and volume around the sleeves. There are lots of fun elements in this one coat, and it makes me want to go out with it every day, all day! I can't get enough of how the coat really goes with my hair, either.

To highlight the coat and hair even more, I went for an all-black color scheme underneath. I just simply styled it with my old body-hugging V-neck top and black skinny jeans. Then, I topped it off with my favorite platform boots. I put on some pale  pink lipstick to keep an "ICY" vibe as my finishing touch.

How did you like this set? Stay tuned for another one in chic city-oriented look!
Have a lovely day dolls!

Hi LOVEs!!

One of the street trends that has caught my eyes these days is wearing all white ensembles with winter layers. People are inclined to wear dark colors during this season, and I am definitely one of them. It's bold and sophisticated and I don't think it never goes wrong with it however you style in. Nonetheless, it's fresh and fun to switch up your mind, playing with colors once in a while, and we also need to brighten up the darkest days of the year! Whites are definitely great color option to choose from! I adore the sleekness and crispness of the hue, and it will surely freshen up your mind once you put on because I actually felt revitalizing while wearing this look!

I've tried several times all white styles for the last few years over the summer, but never done in winter. So why not challenge myself to give it a try? It's a new year, and it's all about trying new things without fear, right? Right on time, I got this

slick white turtleneck from

ShopRoxx

, and I simply paired it with my white wardrobe. Super effortless coordinating ever! Normally I add accessories or mix with vivid color items as I go for head-to-toe all white look, but this time I kept the whole look as simple as possible. Yet I couldn't help myself tying it with a snakeskin clutch for a bit of eye candy.

Do you like all-white fashions in winter? Hope you enjoy today's winter white look!

Hi LOVEs! and.....

♥♥♥ HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

♥♥♥

I had hoped to post this look the day before Valentine's as my second V-day inspired outfit but was unable to because I left sick yestrday and had to spend time in bed to get some rest! But heyyy --- what is a better Valentine's present than a good outfit, huh?  Here you go! :)

This photoshoot was one of the best ones I've ever had! Not just because I really love the outfit, but also because I can't get enough of my new hair and color! And I am overjoyed with how beautifully my photographer friend, Eric, captured me through his lens... This series offers more head shots than usual... I just couldn't choose which one was the best! :P

Even though I can't share today with my valentine, this outfit is definitely the one I would wear to celebrate my day. While the first look highlights the color red and showcases cuteness and femininity for a younger woman, this outfit focuses on elegance and the seductive nature of a mature woman. That's why I styled it up with all-black to elevate the polished and chic touch, including the outerwear and the bag. Just a little note, the black fur coat is really a go-to item that you shouldn't miss this winter season. It keeps you bundled up for sure, and you can't go wrong wearing it with any style... I am so glad to have snagged this one when it was on sale for  ~$10 at

H&M

! Score!

I'd been looking for a skirt with some flares for a long time and finally found

the perfect one at

H&M

. Thanks to the ruffle hems, it gives a nice amount of charm to the look. How can I not love the skirt? Simple but elegant! I love the skirt so much!

Of course, I wanted to add some characteristic colors and items from Valentine's Day. So I topped it off with the

ASOS

heart print tights and

UrbanOG

pretty pink wedge heels. Oh, and don't forget to complement the look with gold accessories and a hint of red lips!

Wishing you all a very lovely and sweet Valentine's Day! Happy a day of love!!!

Kisses and Hugs xoxo

Happy Monday LOVEs! How was your weekend?

Mine was great! It finally snowed in Seattle; it was very lovely and always love to see the view where everything is covered by snow. Even though I am getting older, seeing snow somehow makes me feel young just by thinking that I want to play so badly in the snow, like making a HUGE snowman or having a snowball fight! haha Have you ever felt the same way?

I also finished my last-minute Christmas shopping for my family in Japan during my weekend. The mall was crazily packed but I got a lot of nice gifts at such a great deal! I haven't gotten them anything for the last few years, so I can't wait to ship them to Japan and hopefully my family will love what I got for them! Another fun note from my weekend is that I watched

Captain Phillips

last night. The movie caught me from the beginning to the end, and I was really thrilled during the entire drama. There is no doubt that Tom Hanks is an amazing actor and I am so glad to watch the movie before it's done playing! If you haven't watched it yet, you should!

___________________________

Christmas is now within two days... Have you decided what to wear?

If yes, that's terrific! But if not, I hope today's post will help give you some idea for that!

This is the last look I styled with

the dress c/o

Shoproxx

. I really enjoyed styling it up in different ways and showing you how a simple dress can be changed into several outfits with totally different vibes just by the styling! I decided to wear the dress as it is. Then I simply put on some glam accessories, even using the same belt from the previous look, opted for a pair of fabulous sandals, and topped it off with the light camel fur coat to keep me warm. That's all. Easy but it's fantastic enough to become gorgeously dressed up!

The back cutout really elevates the sex appeal as well as the side draped details. I slipped down the shoulder to boost the appeal even more.  Don't forget to glam up yourself adding red lips. It's an all-time essential for party attire.  I intentionally chose this iridescent, shimmering beaded necklace to create not-too-literal Christmasy feeling to go with my red lips.

The gold clutch -

The Gatsby Clutch

 is also from

Shoproxx

and I love it so much! The geometric design is pretty cool and is a great size to store the girl's essentials in. The chain straps are removable so you can use it differently.

I am so happy to have this versatile, amazing dress!!!

Please check out

ShopRoxx

"A Happy New Year 2013!!!!!!"

Did you guys have an awesome NYE and New Years? Hope you do!!!!

I wanted to start off the new year by sharing a look I put together for the January Weather here in Seattle!!!!

This look is definitely one of my favorites. Why? Because I really adore how it looks when a fur coat and dotted tights come together! The coat look super sleek but is quite warm, and I must say....I cannot survive Seattle's winter without it. As for the dotted tights, aren't they super lovely? These are my most favorites ones -- I really love the size of dot: not so small but no too big. They're the perfect size to get people's attention.

I also love how each variation, with or without the coat, has a different feeling. The ensemble with the coat looks more elegant and gorgeous; I can go to a party with the look. Then, if I take off the coat, I get more casual and playful look. Of course, it's still appropriate as a parties.

So.... let me know, which look do you prefer...??
