It’s finally the weekend, woohoo! My weekend is always so busy with plans, which is good, right? But the weather will be not pleasant over the weekend, so it’s perfect to share this set of photos that I had a chance to shoot in while I was traveling to NY last year!

The Shoot

I connected with a NY-based photographer, Dane, and we decided to meet up at Brooklyn Bridge right before the sunrise! Yes, at 7 am…
It was totally worth waking up so freaking early (just FYI, I am a night owl!) because the sunrise at Brooklyn Bridge was so surprisingly stunning. Although the wind was killing us, it was a delightful moment to breathe slowly, close my eyes, and soak in the morning sunshine in New York.
It was my first time visiting NYC, and I know there would be more places on my radar. Yet, Brooklyn Bridge is probably one of the best spots in NY!

Only in New York

Have you noticed that I am not wearing any boots or heels this time? Haha you are right! I finally got my hands on my first pair of Adidas Superstar sneakers at a NYC store. Please don’t judge me... If you are a blogger, those shoes are one of the major go-to pieces for daily basis. But, it was on my to-do list that “I will buy my first pair of Adidas in New York!” and boom! Here I am with those timeless sneakers!

Styling the Shoes

So, of course, I had to style them in New York City and photographed the look! I went for the frayed jeans that I also got in NY at a MOUSSY shop — a Japanese brand well-known in amazing quality jeans.
Then, I bundled up in this pretty blush coat with my old GAP scarf. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that rocking a pink coat is my current obsession. Because why not? It’s so stylish, so pretty, and so chic! On top of that, it is such eye-candy outerwear that we all can’t keep our eyes off of! Especially to me who has a pink hair, it just goes perfectly.
