I hope you all had a wonderful and spooky halloween yesterday! What did you dress up as?
Today’s look is all about these P E R F E C T flare jeans I recently got from Free People. When it comes to anything in trousers, I am super picky. Super duper. I wish I had model-like legs, then I wouldn’t have to worry about having a flattering silhouette in these jeans. As a girl who has a long torso and short legs, finding the right bottoms has never been easy!!
But, I found these amazing flare jeans on a mannequin at a store. At first, I was going to pass them by because I thought there would be no way I could pull off flare jeans, EVER. But, luckily I was with my bestie and she pushed me to try them on.
Boom! I FELL IN LOVE with them instantly! They fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable! And love that it gives an instant 90's vibe!
Like me, a lot of people might think that this kind of bell bottom is hard to pull off. But they were not, and that’s why I was beyond happy with these jeans; they literally gave me a new life!
I am 5’0” with short legs, so I still needed to cut the hem to the right size. And now, I actually adore them even more. It turns out that it gives them a frayed hem effect! The power of DIY!
Because the flare starts nice and high at the knee, it really creates a sleek silhouette. I should say everyone needs to own these dreamy pair of jeans! They come in 9 different colors, and mine are Jericho Blue.
I wore this look on Day 1 of Bellevue Fashion Week, so I needed to make a statement.
I paired the jeans with an oversized button down shirt and styled it using an off-the-shoulder look. I seriously obsessed over wearing a shirt this way. It’s more stylish and head-turning, even from the behind. The Fall to me is all about wearing a cute hat! I’ve been in love with this chocolate colored boater hat and it always compliments my look with a sophisticated touch.
My final touch of this look is this gorgeous Swarovski jewelry. You can’t underestimate the faculty of dainty pieces; they have a big impact on your look; it’s the little details that count. On my right hand, I am wearing Rose gold Harvey Pave Bangle, Rose gold Ginger Bangle, Rose gold Hote bangle, Harvey Pave ring, and Crystaldust Cross Ring. And on left hand: Rose Gold Crystalline Pure watch, mix of Remix Collection Bracelets, Geometry Ring, and Ginger Ring Set.
On a personal note, it’s November! That means….my birthday is coming in 3 days! On top of that, I am going to NYC this year again! But this time… WITH MY MOM!
Even though it will be only 4 short days with her, this trip will be so sweet and fun!! ♥️
