Off The Shoulder, Cold Shoulder

Hi LOVEs!!!
I am deeply sorry for the lack of posts lately… I can’t believe that it’s already been two weeks since the last update! From the 9th to 14th, I went on a trip to San Francisco with my family. Yes, my mom, dad, and grandpa came all the way from Japan to meet me! How sweet of them! It was the first time I’d seen them in three years. Not to mention, I was extremely happy to spend some quality time with them from the morning to the evening. Although I had to experience a terrible incident right before the trip was over, it was still the most memorable, eventful and amazing family trip I’ve ever had.

Back in Seattle, I am freezing my ass off (lol), so enjoying San Francisco’s perfect winter weather was another fun part of the trip. Like perfect, chilly weather. On the first day, I wore an off-the-shoulder top and rocked a pink coat, and I love it! Even though in Seattle, we all need to bundle up in layered clothes to keep ourselves warm, I am still obsessed with wearing an off-the-shoulder top and sweaters.

This sweater is not a new piece, yet it’s one of my favorite all-time sweaters that I would forever keep in my closet. I wore this outfit to one of the blogger events, so I glammed up with a wide, lace choker and a pair of statement pumps. This lace choker is such a big hit, and I wouldn’t expect that it goes perfectly with an off-the-shoulder sweater like mine. You know, a lace choker and an off-the-shoulder are something I would gift to my beloved girls. Not just a single item, two of them together, that way my girls can mix and match with whatever they have in their wardrobe. Two is better than one, right?

I almost chose a pair of darker jeans, but decided to go for a white denim to change things up! By now, we’ve established wearing whites is totally acceptable after Labor Day, and you can definitely winterize your white pieces by teaming up with some cold season must-haves like knits, booties, scarf, coats, and fur accessories.
Since it was a family trip, I don’t have any posts from San Fransisco, but you can follow the fan memories via #LoveClosetTravelDiary on Instagram, including all my looks I wore throughout the trip!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
