A very happy New Year, everyone! How’s your year so far? I still can’t believe we are already in 2017, but I'm so thrilled to see what this new year brings to life!
Since I have colored hair, it’s always so fun to play with some colors in my outfit. If I had a normal hair color, it wouldn’t take so much effort to pick daily outfits, thinking of whether or not those pieces could go with my pink hair... That’s why I tend to pick neutral colors lately - like black and white because, to be honest, it’s super easy to coordinate with my hair. However, when I am really craving for some color in my looks, I try not to be afraid of going bold. My most favorite color at the moment is definitely pink (duh!) and red, but for today’s post, I decided to play with a color that I wouldn’t think it goes well together: olive.
Olive green is such a beautiful color to wear during this season, but would you pair it with pink? I would probably say NO. But when I put on the sweater, it actually worked! I decided to make an olive-on-olive look with the same colored cropped trousers because having one color from head to toe helps to elongate your body and will make any figure look longer and leaner. I love this trick because I look like 5'5" tall with this look! (I am actually 5’ tall!) Then, I topped it off with my favorite python lace-up pumps.

I love layering with dainty necklaces with a sweater. These Kendra Scott necklaces (Top: Elisa Necklace; Bottom: Beth Necklace) are so gorgeous and easy to mix and match with what I have in my jewelry box.
I layered up with my old chunky oversized scarf because I obviously can’t live without it, right? It’s so cozy and adds a perfect, winter touch to any look. When you scroll to the bottom, you’ll see some more oversized scarf I have been keeping my eye on.
