Hi LOVEs!!!!

When it comes to making an outfit on a daily basis, does it mostly depend on your mood or any clothes or piece you want to sport? Or is it something else? In my case, it's generally the latter, and that's why newly added items to my closet always happen to be on heavy rotation. Do you often do the same?

I recently got thise

awesome pair of booties

that are hand-crafted with an amazing deep green calf hair from

ALYSIA

. It's already too cold to rock this pair barefoot in Seattle, but I've been wearing them with tights and socks since the week I received it. I can't get over how sophisticated they are, and the comfiness is beyond incredible!!! For today's look, I decided to center these booties to create the rest of the outfit, which I thought it would be fun to achieve the "Earth Color" combo style with a bit of a casual sporty vibe. This look could be perfect for watching sports and holiday shopping! Green and camel is such an easy way to create that style, so I simply combined my favorite

khaki sweater

and

camel faux suede jacket

, along with my comfiest

J Brand

jeans

By the way, I almost forgot to tell you that you can customize your shoes from the heel shape to insole color on

ALYSIA

! Isn't is amazing? Their shoes have been featured on notable fashion magazines like InStyle, People, OK!, and more! So you better check them out because their shoes are too lovely to pass on for the adoring holiday gift idea!

Enjoy your Sunday, cuties! ♥

Hi LOVEs! Happy Monday :) Did you have a wonderful weekend?
In my previous post, I gave a teaser of another outfit by Wang, and here is the look that I styled up with #AlexanderWangxH&M pieces! I love this all black ensemble as much as the other AW white look. I am seriously obsessed with this oversized t-shirt because it's super comfy and soft while staying edgy, and I am literary wearing it right now as room wear! I've also worn this as a top with a pair of jeans or leggings and booties for an easy-going and laid-back style. Even though I brought a size small, the length is a bit long for a girl whose height is 5 feet, so I had to adjust it by tucking the waist part into a skirt I wore underneath. I could alternatively make a knot as another styling option.

It's been awfully cold in Seattle lately, and there is no way I would wear this t-shirt without layering up. Luckily I have a peplum top with sheer sleeves, and it was a perfect match for the t-shirt. Then, I wore these killer over-the-knee boots (similar here or here) to keep my feet warm! Adding a fur clutch or bag is one of the absolutely chic ways to elevate any look for fall and winter. Moreover, it instantly gives a look "bundled-up" vibe.
These WANG sunglasses actually came with two removable straps printed 'WANG' in black and white. I thought I should try them with the strap and kind of liked it, especially in this look. It empathizes the street and sporty feel, which is why I added a baseball cap instead of a beanie.

Which look is your favorite, WHITE WANG or BLACK WANG?
Here's wishing you a fabulous kick off to the new week, dolls!

Hi LOVEs!!!!
Finally Seafair Torch Parade is over! (If you read the previous article or keep updated on my Instagram/Facebook, you know that I was performing the parade as a flag performer!) Even though I really miss my team and those crazy practices on the weekends, it's time for me to get back to the blogger life!!

As much as I love colors, I still love wearing monotone colors very much! And why not wearing them during summer? The basic colors never fail to be fashionable! And this time, I wanted to mix it up with a sporty vibe! I actually wore this look for a lead flag practice, yet I wanted to create something that is totally wearable on a daily basis. Sportswear as a fashion trend has been definitely enlarging for the past few years and even evolving as the years past. I personally feel that you can effortlessly achieve the trend by just throwing on a simple key item. I love seeing people making it to a sleek, sophisticated and luxurious ensemble which is far from the actual meaning of "sporty or athletic!" I am also fascinated that it could be a sex appeal, can form a very amazing laid-back look, and can even make an elegant and chic look.

I've been in love with this baseball cap and these faux leather short pants ever since I've owned, and can't stop wearing them! These are some of the perfect pieces to upgrade a sporty-inspired look! A baseball cap is currently my summer essential, especially for a bear-face day to cover my skins from the sunshine. I can't not resist anything that is practical yet so stylish! To accentuate a sportif mix,  I paired it with these awesome lace-up booties (They are super comfy!) A stripe crop top is very playful and helped me keep it cool from the heat! I love how the silver accessories perfectly go with this look. Not too bold, yet not too boring.

How do you want to wear the sportswear trend in the remaining summer?

P.S. I was totally speechless to see a breathtaking sunset during the photoshoot! I need to go there more since I now live closer!!!!

Rosey White Out

Rosey White Out

Wearing white in summer is fundamental, yet it is still considered to be a major look. This ensemble always remains a hot trend. It's impossible not to love how the crispness and how an all-white look can produce a crisp, luxurious and rich feeling?

Hi LOVEs!!!!
I am so sorry I haven't been able to update an outfit post for more than a week! I'd been with a bad cold and really needed to rest myself to fully recover! But I am back now and have so many spring outfits to share with you guys! So please be ready for that :)

As I have mentioned many times in previous posts, I've been obsessed with SPORTY and FLOWER PRINT trends, and the idea of 'why don't I combine my favorite trends in an outfit?' popped up on my head when I received this awesome sportif top courtesy of  1.State.
They are quite a new brand and are a contemporary sportswear collection that launched exclusively at Nordstrom February this year. I totally embrace how they integrate the femininity and sport motif in the collection. Their collection is mostly simple, yet has a feeling of modern, architectural-highlighted and sleek with novelty fabrics. With that said, this top is one of the amazing pieces that definitely expresses their style!

I actually wore this outfit to feature the top at their launch party, and it goes so well with the floral print pants. I added a floral print scarf for more feminine touch, and I loved the way I wore the scarf tied up around my neck instead of wearing loosely. Although I adore this outfit itself, I like it more when wearing the trench coat over it. Trench coats are a must-have for spring and such a practical yet fashionable item when needing a bit of layers in the spring weather. I've been wearing a lot lately, and it always elevates my looks!

These ASOS boots are something that I can't get enough of. REALLY! I'd been searching for many years to find the perfect pairs! I was so glad to finally own them! They are ankle boots; that means I still can wear them right now because it doesn't look too fall or winter, thanks to showing the ankle. Right? The side silhouette is just wow to me and they definitely look amazing with any kind of style <3

I am going to team up with 1.State to create a spring style look featuring their new collection soon! (Omg! The pieces I picked are super adorable!) I can't wait to show you the items and to share how I am styling them! Please stay tuned for the blog post!

Have a happy Thursday, sweeties!♥

Hi LOVEs!
I am very sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have a lot of outfits to share, but I've been working on a new project over the last week, which I am going to announce very soon! Please stay tuned to hear what it is all about! It promises to be exciting!!! :)

This outfit is also inspired by the sporty trend, like the one in my previous post. I am a total sucker for that trend! But in contrast with the previous look, today's look is edgier and has more of a street-style vibe. I had been looking for a nice pair of faux leather sweat pants/joggers, and this pair from Dress To Kill Miami is just right on. They are just like regular sweat pants, yet way more fashion-forward. They are loose-fitting from waist to bottom, so I can literally wear them all day long. I can even go to sleep in them.  Also they could be worn from day to night because of the faux leather material.  I paired them with a Forever 21 cropped sweater to offer a peek of my tummy for a touch of sex appeal. I elevated the sporty-ness by wearing a Aritzia baseball cap and bomber jacket, which are essentials to easily achieve the style.
Joggers and strap heeled sandals are the perfect combo! I actually didn't have a black pair. To my surprise, these strap heels are also from Dress To Kill Miami and are so fab and comfy! They are only slightly platform, so it prevents my feet from getting tired so easily. I am pretty sure I am going to wear them a lot over the spring and summer!
I finished the look with silver accessories ( I love double necklaces!) and a pop of red lips! Oh and don't forget my new awesome white clutch from ZARA!
"STRESSED BUT WELL DRESSED"
Soooo true!

I hope you like how I styled for the sporty group!
Again, don't miss the exciting announcement I will make this week :)

Wising you all a good start of the week!

Hi LOVEs!!!
In past interview about me and my fashion,  the first few question I was always asked were 'how would you describe your style?' and 'what is your fashion/style inspiration?" I would quickly answer these questions with: "my style is "diverse and versatile." Ever since fashion became party of my life, I have been inspired by the variety around me.
Of course, I receive the most inspiration from the environments that I live in. Japan is a world innovator in fashion, with tons of independent and home-grown styles seen on the streets of Tokyo, as you may be aware... Although I didn't dress in all of these styles, I used to check our many of the fashion magazines and became familiar with the specifically features the particular fashion styles. Some were really crazy to me and not quite my style, but I still studied from  for inspiration. Then, I came to America, which is considered to contain one of the most diverse populations in the world. The fashions of so many cultures come together here in America. I believe my fashion is heavily inspired by both American and Japanese cultures, and so crating my own individualized look from these two influences has become my signature style.

With that in mind, unlike the previous post, today's outfit is totally different, isn't it? Once in a while, I love dressing up in a style inspired by Punks, Club Kids, and Street fashion. I got my inspiration from a Boy London style to achieve today's outfit featuring Dress To Kill Miami. I was ecstatic that they asked to work with me because they carry the styles that I love. In this outfit, I am wearing their Girls Just Wanna Have Fun tee & Lonton Trash Ceres Zebra Calfhair Heels. No doubt these instantly became my favorite pieces. I normally wear size Small, but I picked Medium to wear it oversized. Even still, it fits me just right!!! No explanation is needed for these kick-ass shoes. They are now the tallest and craziest shoes I have in my closet! lol I am a big shoe fan, and I am especially crazy about platforms. The elastic bands across the top of my foot (or vamp) give the right amount of sex appeal, too!

If you keep an eye on what is trending, then you know what the next big hit will be this spring and summer, right? Yes, SPORTY!!!! A handful of spring collections on runways channeled a SPORTIF touch fused by modern fashion, and I can't simply ignore the trends. It's too cool not to try it and super easy to achieve!!! So I went with these leather jog shorts and a men's backpack and accessorized in a studded gray beanie by Shop Chic Stud LA and gold accessories. Wearing the white lace sleeve top underneath of the T-shirt completely topped off the look and is great way to add that touch of femininity that can sometimes be lacking in street fashion.

So why not try your own hand at styling it up?
You can shop the T-shirt and zebra heels as well as other awesome pieces at Dress To Kill Miami with 10% off any order over $75 using the code "BABEAIKA"! Don't miss this special offer!

I hope you all have a lovely day!

I know I know, I may have told you that in my last post that it would be my last summer look. But.... every great look deserves an encore, right? lol I found this look in my collection of shoots and just had to share!

Ever since "Sporty" has become one of the trends, I've been adoring it and have wanted to try it out and add my own signature touch. I actually have been trying it with a number of my OOTDs that I post on my Instagram (Click HERE to follow me if you'd like!!) but I have never blogged about it, haven I?
I got this cool sporty cropped top from TOPSHOP.  At the same time, I'd received a care package from Charlotte Russe, and this Studded PU Trim Mini Skirt was included. So I just put them together and BAM!!!!
Look what I got!!! I extremely love how it turned out, and I should say it is spot-on a "Sporty Chic" look! Since I wanted the look to be sophisticated while keeping it sporty, I put on ZARA pointed heels and added a JustFab dark green square tote bag to add a touch of sophistication. Meanwhile, I threw on the summer mesh-sleeve bomber jacket and the brown sunglasses to polish off the sporty look.

Normally I tend to wear earrings that grab your attention or accessorize with eye-catching necklaces. However, this time I didn't do that. Can you see why? It is because I wanted to emphasize the CHUNKY ARMSWAG, and I absolutely adore how I put them all together!!!!

Seattle is now very chilly and it makes me feel like winter is around the corner!
Although I am not quite ready for this cold weather yet, I just can't wait to share how I am going to style my fall outfits!
I've been shopping many of the fall clothes lately (ughh as a fashion blogger, shopping is the worst enemy to get away from! lol), and I have tons of ideas for autumn looks in my mind! I really can't wait to showcase them soon!

I really hope you like/love my last summer outfit and my first sporty look!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Monday my LOVEly readers!!!!
How have you been? I hope you guys have been great as always!
I know the last time I blogged was more than a week ago... :( I really wanted to blog because I have a lot of outfits I am eager to share, yet my Japanese friend came visit me for a week all the way from Japan!!! I'd had SO MUCH FUN with her ;) She was a friend from high school, and we both were on the tennis team. However, we weren't in that close relationship. Wasn't it so sweet of her to fly over here to see me, though? I couldn't stop crying as she was about to enter the gate at the airport. I was greatly happy to see her because she has been supporting my fashion for a very long time!! Even though I love America so much, her visiting really made me miss all of my Japanese friends!!!! haha

I believe that this outfit will be my last 'summer look'. In the previous post, I mentioned that I received a great care package from Charlotte Russe. Most of the clothes I am wearing in this outfit consists of the pieces from the care package: Leopard Body-con Dress, Denim Vest, and Skull Print Scarf.

I am so in love with these clothes!!! It's really hard to tell, but the leopard body-con dress comes in ponte knit fabric with sheer mesh insets at the sides, back and shoulder. I should have taken a picture without the vest so that you know what I am talking about, but you can check the actual dress HERE in CR online site. Just like the picture shows, I can wear it as a rock and casual style while I could wear it for nights out or girls night, mixing it up with a pair of fancy heels and a pop of red lips. Or I can style it up as a skirt with layering over a chunky knit/sweater, which could be a great fall/winter look.

This denim vest is a very nice piece, too. I really like the camouflage print details at the shoulders because it makes dissimilar to other regular denim vests. The denim vest is such a versatile item... If you have already one and wore it already in summer, don't forget to transform it to a fall look. It can be worn in many ways. Like wearing over a sleeve shirt either check or plain one. You can mix it up with a fall dress and hoodie. Also, wear it with a denim jacket for creating a denim-on-denim look, one of the trends this fall/winter.

The last Charlotte Russe piece I am wearing in this outfit is Skull Print Scarf.
I have really wanted to own any skull print stuff but had never had a chance to find my ideal one. So when I got this awesome skull scarf, I was so excited! It's nice when you wear it as a scarf, but it's also cute when you use it as an accent just like how I did it for this look!!!!

Hope you like/love how I style up these awesome Charlotte Russe pieces!
