Hi LOVEs!!! Happy Friday!

You know what's coming up next month!? YESSS!!!

FASHION WEEK

!!! Unfortunately, once again I won't be able to attend in person due to crazy busy schedule, but it doesn't mean I can't dress up as if I were there, right? When Fashion Week approaches, I naturally get inspired. I start gathering outfit inspirations from everywhere and come up with some outfits that I would definitely rock if I was to attend!! The camel coat is enjoying a major moment right now. It adds you an instant chicness to any outfit, and it's really a versatile item thanks to its neutral color. I have seen a lot of bloggers, like

Song of Style

and

Kayture

, are rocking it and can't get enough of how they style their coats!! I was totally convinced to invest a little money in this

cozy camel coat from

ASOS

. To be honest with you, it's a bit bigger on me even though it was the smallest size, but I can surely live with it! Wink-wink!

So I styled up this look around the coat as the centerpiece and added a neutral colored turtleneck and white skort. I picked leopard printed booties for a bit of something extra since I otherwise the look is kept simple. Leopard shoes will never go out of style. When I was coordinating this look, I decided I would put on a fedora for a touch of sophistication. I am a huge, like HUGE, fan of the fedora, and this pink one is one of the unexpected pieces I never thought I would have in my closet. Pink is often passed off as simply a girly color, but in reality pink has the ability to create the just right amount of  girly-cool vibe while maintaining your feminine charm. So it was perfect to incorporate my pink fedora to this camel coat look. What's the best thing about this fedora? It looks super cute on my new silver hair! <3 <3 Finally, I love how my vintage shoulder bag/clutch compliments the look from the side angle with the leopard booties.

Are you planning to go to Fashion Week? What's your attire?

Have a great weekend babes!

Hi LOVEs!!! Hope your day has been going well so far!
I don't usually post at night, but recently my Internet connection had been down for a while and I just couldn't wait to get this out since I am finally reconnected! Today's post is all about night time fun, as I'd like to share some good photos I took with a killer background view while I was hanging out with my friend several nights ago!

Ever since college, I slowly transformed into becoming a night owl, and now I always find myself having the most fun after midnight. Driving around the city with my friends, indulging in the nightlife, enjoying a cheap late night dessert at my favorite restaurants -- those are the activites I enjoy most.  Personally, I get so inspired at night. Who's with me?
Yesterday we finally had such a beautiful sunny day after some horrible rainy weather, and a few weeks ago the city was completely covered with an awesome fog! So my friend and I took advantage of the misty scenery and snapped some night shots with the fog as a perfect creepy backdrop! This fog absolutely makes the city look even more beautiful and creates a different atmosphere that gave me a weird but interesting feeling. I was literally looking at the city for over 10 mins without thinking of anything... I was just lost in the impressive view. It was a calm nighttime stroll and I loved it!

Although the view was super sick, the winter icy-cold temperature was not pleasing, especially after midnight. However, this Forever 21 faux fur coat saved me!!! (Sadly it's sold out but similar here or here) It's faux fur, but it feels like real fur in terms of how warm it is and the texture is beyond sleek and luxurious. I have to admit that it's the best leopard fur coat EVER! I can't keep my eyes off of any coat that enables me to stay both chic and cozy.

What's your most favorite thing to do at night? I meant like "late night"... :)
Have a wonderful evening sweethearts ♥

Hi LOVEs!!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

Woohoo! First post of 2015! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve and kicked off an amazing New Year :)

I really wanted to start off my first post with a look in my NEW silver & blond hair, but I still have a few outfits I didn't have a chance to share last year, and I can't forget this look because it is one of my favorite ones from 2014 for sure!
I always become so obsessed with statement coats whenever winter comes, and I just can't stay away from getting a new one each year! I was more than happy to get my hands on this awesome blue leopard printed coat from Fevrie. It totally amazes me. I love wearing blue, and who doesn't like leopard print? So it's like two of my favorite things in one garment! Scored! I also like the coat because of its shape which is a pea coat style and am fascinated with how cozy it is even though it looks very light weight!

Since the coat really pops up, I styled my inner ensemble with a monotone color to get the coat even more standout! Yet, I played around with hued accessories, even with the lip color, to add some playful vibes. Besides the coat, I'd always wanted to have a beanie with a pom. It's so lovely and cute, and my desire got bigger and bigger every time I saw people rocking it in the street! So glad I got this one now!
I complimented the look with my new pair of burgundy booties and too-adoring Celine sunglasses!
Have a great first Monday of the year!

Hi LOVEs!
Today's post is a little bit different from my regular posts!!

I have a question to ask you... What's your favorite hair style?
Me? I've always had a big desire to have a bob haircut. I had one a long long time ago, but I don't even remember when it was. A bob is super cute and romantic... It's always been on my top 5 list of hair styles I want to try. In addition to that, one of my fashion divas, Rihanna, is rocking a black bob right now!!! She looks super amazing in that hairstyle! Still, I really love having my hair long and am enjoying coloring it in ombre. One day, as I was doing a photoshoot with my photographer friend, Eric, I found that he has this lovely black bob wig at his live-in studio! I immediately asked him if I could try it on. As I was checking myself out in the wall mirror, he grabbed his camera and he said "Hey, Aika! Let's shoot!"
That's the story behind these pictures!!

Talking about a little bit about the outfit.... I looooove this Bob Dylan oversized tee I found in the H&M mens section. It's big enough for me to wear alone with nothing underneath, or I can knot the hems to make it into a crop top, or it totally goes with leggings or jeans! So funny that I happened to sport 'two bobs' in one outfit - BOB hair and BOB Dylan! lol That's why I titled this post '2 Bobs Better Than 1'

I am now totally obsessed with a bob hair wig, and I really need to get one for myself!!  I won't need to chop my long hair off --  I just need to save up the money to get a wig! I wish I had pre-planned to style my outfit for the black bob wig, yet I am pleased with how the pictures came out!

Hope you liked me with the black bob hair! :)
Do you dare to try it out for yourself?

TGIF my sweethearts! ♥

Hi LOVEs! It's been almost a week since the last post... I deeply apologize for being MIA. I needed some rest after my car accident :P I was accidentally hit by a car at intersection on my way home. It was kind of a big one for the first time in a long time... I am glad I didn't get heavy injured and... most happily, I am back now! :)

I believe that I've mentioned before that I am quite the sucker for hats. Of all hats, my most favorite kind is clearly... The FEDORA. I own more than 5 or 6 already, and my love of the fedora is unending. I want all kinds of colors! When I found this awesome fedora at H&M, I was overjoyed! Its color, silhouette, and fit are just about perfect, and it goes with any kind of style. If you want to add a touch of edginess, this hat is the exact piece you should select. It is edgy, yet maintains an air of coolness. That's why I can't live without it.
The difference with today's look is that I started with the hat, then arranged my outfit around it.  I wanted to go for a casual and clean look when styling this fedora. So I picked very comfortable items to achieve it. Since ART PRINTS will be one of the Spring/Summer trends, I wore this Aritzia super loose-fitting top with its big graphic art (check this look styling this top as well). I love mixing prints into a simple look, so I decided to pair these lovely ALDO pony hair boots. They are amazingly comfy but stunning, and you have no idea how many times people have given me compliments on them! The TOPSHOP peach coat definitely compliments the whole look. The combination of fedora and coat is my new favorite now, I think! Adding a pair of fake glasses is the right choice to finish the look, and a few playful elements can never go wrong!

Early this week, I received the most amazing email EVER... It's from one of the co-founders at Chictopia, and it said that I have been selected as a candidate for a VS PINK/Chictopia styling campaign featuring MLB baseball style looks. I nearly died, and had to read it over many times to sure it was real! lol One of my goals this year is to work with a major American company. I am not an official candidate yet, but the fact that I was chosen as one of them is certainly showing that I am on the right path and am one step closer to my goal. Please cross your fingers for me to be officially chosen! :)
Thank you very much for loving my fashion and for your continuous support to make my dreams come true!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Hi LOVEs! I am deeply sorry for not updating anything for a week!

Christmas is finally coming very soon!!! I know you are all so excited with this holiday!!

Did you know that Christmas in Japan is for couples unlike in America? So when I was in Japan most of my friends who DID NOT have a partner whined a lot about Christmas because of that! Me as a single living here, I don't have to experience THAT; I can just enjoy the feeling of the holidays!

I hope you have a special plan for your Christmas :)

Since it's the holiday season, I'd love to give you some inspiration for holiday ensembles!

Just in time, I recently received this lovely

asymmetrical hem dress from ShopRoxx

and it has been my current obsession! Whenever I see a dress, I always love thinking of how I can transform it to several looks because I don't wanna wear it only once or don't want to get bored wearing it in the same way over and over. So I decided to create three different outfits styling up with this dress to show you how you can style a dress in completely contrasting ways.

I was eager to achieve casual with my first look because this dress itself is really ladylike. I paired it with a Forever 21 bright blue cropped top (similar

HERE

)  and

PUMA knit beanie

. Blue is such a big, hit color for me this F/W as well as one of the trendy colors. I finally found a sporty beanie at the PUMA store in Bellevue Square when I was shopping on Black Friday! I love it because it's a great item to casual down.  The dress actually has long sleeves, yet I am fascinated with how the dress changed into a skirt by covering the top while you can also layer up. During the winter, you want to bundle up without looking so fat, right? lol I accentuated the look with all gold accessories, especially I really like

the heart shaped earrings from JustFab

!!!!  I opted for a pair of leopard boots to give the look a bit of a boost.

How did you like my first look?

If you like the dress, I highly recommend to get it for one of your holiday pieces because you will see how versatile it is after you see my next two blog posts!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone :) & stay warm

Who doesn't like leopard prints? I believe almost all girls adore leopard prints, and so every year as that season's trends become apparent, leopard prints naturally make it onto the list and garner a lot of fans. Speaking for myself, I happen to own a lot of leopard printed clothes and shoes.
On
top of that, another trends that I extremely love is.... "metallic."  Thanks to its shimmering fabrics, it can instantly give a flashy impact to any look, which is perfect because during fall and winter dark colors tend to be common.

I wore this outfit for the Charming Charlie opening event, and I got this silver metallic midi skirt at Nordstrom. I simply paired it up with a lovely leopard top. I am very fascinated with how metallic items can  effortlessly go well with anything. Luckily I have had these gold metallic sandals from ASOS since summer (One of my favorite shoes this year!), and since it's fall and can be quite cold if you don't wear tights or socks, I decided to style the shoes with a pair of polka dot socks to add a touch of playfulness. Since the shoes are gold metallic, I accessorized in all gold jewelry.

I put on a fur collar scarf instead of wearing a jacket or coat to keep myself warm! It really goes well with the leopard top! To finish my look, I styled my hair into a up-do, but this time I added a little twist...
After lightly curling my hair, I tied it up on top. Then I rolled it up once along with the hair-tie, and pinned it, allowing the curled tips to dangle. It is a 5-min-easy-hairstyle so please try it out yourself! I think it's really pretty and you can create an elaborate up-do hair style!

I am still hunting for and will keep an eye out for more metallic clothing items...
If
you find an awesome product, please share it with me! I am dying to know!
Hopefully I can show off more metallic looks down the road!

Happy Monday my LOVEly readers!!!!
How have you been? I hope you guys have been great as always!
I know the last time I blogged was more than a week ago... :( I really wanted to blog because I have a lot of outfits I am eager to share, yet my Japanese friend came visit me for a week all the way from Japan!!! I'd had SO MUCH FUN with her ;) She was a friend from high school, and we both were on the tennis team. However, we weren't in that close relationship. Wasn't it so sweet of her to fly over here to see me, though? I couldn't stop crying as she was about to enter the gate at the airport. I was greatly happy to see her because she has been supporting my fashion for a very long time!! Even though I love America so much, her visiting really made me miss all of my Japanese friends!!!! haha

I believe that this outfit will be my last 'summer look'. In the previous post, I mentioned that I received a great care package from Charlotte Russe. Most of the clothes I am wearing in this outfit consists of the pieces from the care package: Leopard Body-con Dress, Denim Vest, and Skull Print Scarf.

I am so in love with these clothes!!! It's really hard to tell, but the leopard body-con dress comes in ponte knit fabric with sheer mesh insets at the sides, back and shoulder. I should have taken a picture without the vest so that you know what I am talking about, but you can check the actual dress HERE in CR online site. Just like the picture shows, I can wear it as a rock and casual style while I could wear it for nights out or girls night, mixing it up with a pair of fancy heels and a pop of red lips. Or I can style it up as a skirt with layering over a chunky knit/sweater, which could be a great fall/winter look.

This denim vest is a very nice piece, too. I really like the camouflage print details at the shoulders because it makes dissimilar to other regular denim vests. The denim vest is such a versatile item... If you have already one and wore it already in summer, don't forget to transform it to a fall look. It can be worn in many ways. Like wearing over a sleeve shirt either check or plain one. You can mix it up with a fall dress and hoodie. Also, wear it with a denim jacket for creating a denim-on-denim look, one of the trends this fall/winter.

The last Charlotte Russe piece I am wearing in this outfit is Skull Print Scarf.
I have really wanted to own any skull print stuff but had never had a chance to find my ideal one. So when I got this awesome skull scarf, I was so excited! It's nice when you wear it as a scarf, but it's also cute when you use it as an accent just like how I did it for this look!!!!

Hope you like/love how I style up these awesome Charlotte Russe pieces!
