Hi LOVEs!!

Can you believe that we are already celebrating New Years Eve tomorrow!?!? I definitely can't believe it, but I am really excited and ready for the new year! What are you planning on wearing tomorrow for New Year's Eve?

I shared a girly and sparkling party look in

 my last post

, and I hope you liked how I styled the dress with a fur vest! Here is my second party look with

Tobi

again, and you can see that it is much more elegant with plenty of sex appeal!

I am so happy to have this

super lovely LBD

from

Tobi

, and this might just be the perfect dress for NYE! This is certainly one of the best LBDs in my closet, to be honest with you. Since I have small breasts, I usually feel uncomfortable wearing a strapless dress, but I chose this one because it has little cute off-sleeve cuffs that help draw your gaze away from my chest area. At the same time, they provide added support to keep my top in place, even when dancing! These sleeves make this dress even more appealing and alluring.  I love how the dress looks from the back, too.  It is a low & open cut, yet it does not give too much away. I just can't get enough of this dress!

I decided to pair this dress with my favorite black platform pumps that have gold and leopard print details. Whenever I wear a dress, I tend to wear platform heels to balance out my height, since I have a long torso with short legs. The reason I chose this pair of pumps is that I could match them with my gold accessories and

leopard coat

 that I recently scored at

Forever 21

.  Even though you will take your coat off at a party, you want to keep that wow factor even when you are headed to the party, don't you? Well I do! So it's great to throw on a statement coat over your lovely party dress. That way you can definitely provide double WOWs!! This leopard coat is super duper cozy and its plush texture is beyond amazing!

I tried not to over-accessorize; I just added a statement pearl chocker necklace that I got from my friend as a birthday gift, along with

simple hoop earrings

,

one bracelet

, and a gold clutch from my mom to store my belongings. For my hair, I did a messy up-do with curled one-side bang, which is my go-to party hairstyle. And of course,

bold lipstick

always provides the perfect finishing touch!

I hope you love/like my NYE look, and hopefully you got some inspiration on what to wear tomorrow!!

By the way, if you follow me on

Instagram

, you probably know already that I dyed my hair in

S I L V E R

!!!!!! Yes, Asian Frozen! Finally one of my dreams came true right before 2014 ends! I'd wanted to try this color for 8 years, so you have no idea how thrilled I have been to have this hair! I still can't get used to it, though. haha...

I am really excited to show you my new hair color here on ALC with my winter outfits! Look forward to it!!!!!!

Have a great last Tuesday of the year!♥

Hi LOVEs and happy holidays!!!!!

With super thrilling and joyful Christmas just about to hit on us, I'd love to share my first lovely holiday inspired look today! If you follow me on

Facebook

and

Instagram

, you saw the little peek already, and I am seriously in love with this outfit filled with a lot of festive vibes!

I got this oh-so-cute

pink sequin dress

(it's pink!!!) and amazingly soft

fur vest

from

TOBI

, one of the great shopping destinations I've been obsessed with and would totally recommend. I actually didn't have both items so they have been great brand-new additions to my closet especially around this time of year. Anything with sequins and fur is just perfect for holiday outfits, as a statement piece or something to make a look standout. They are also versatile items that you can definitely rock on daily basis. I actually wore this fur vest for daily looks a few times already and I styled this sequin dress with lots of layers and over-the-knee boots with tights. I got so many compliments on both ensembles! I just love "dressy" clothes that I don't have to choose the occasion to wear!

I can't get enough of how the dress instantly changes with the fur vest over it. Without it, it looks very playful and fun, showing the little glimpse from the back. But then once the fur best is put on, the dress is elevated to a sophisticated look with an elegant touch. I wanted the dress very pop, so I decided to put other things together with a neutral color theme. I always opt to pick up platform shoes for party looks and recently got this

platform nude pair

from

ShoeDazzle

. Nude heels are always an amazing option when you want the main garment more standout. Of course they give you an lovely illusion of elongating your legs!

On the dress with fur vest look, I personally prefer this one more. It feels warmer, has a soft touch and makes me feel super festive! If you have a fur vest, it's no-brainer to create a similar dressy look. Throw on your fur vest over any of your favorite dress, pick a thin belt and tie it around your waist. Really effortless right? When it comes to accessories for holiday looks or any party look, gold jewelry just fits right to me. If they have pearl details, that's even better. That's why you see a lot of gold and pearl elements on this look!

I hope you enjoy my first holiday look in

Tobi

dress

and

fur vest

. Which look did you like more?

I can't wait to share another one in

Tobi

LBD with you guys soon!

Merry Christmas Eve beauties

Hi LOVEs! Happy Friday!!!!

Now that everywhere is decorated with those lovely colorful holiday lights and all those delightful Xmas songs that make your hart dance are playing wherever you go, it's time to think about how you wanna dress up for the holidays!

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago on Thanksgiving, and I would love to wear this again with a few twists added when I attend a holiday party or celebrate the holidays! I love dressing up more girly during this season. It boosts my inner femininity and helps me smile more! A fun printed midi skirt and delightful party shoes are definitely a great combo for any occasion, day or night, and I haven't worn such an eye-catchy vintage skirt for quite some time. Look how lovely it is! I feel a little wasteful because I had forgotten that I had this skirt in my closet, haha. So glad to bring it back to life!

What I tend to do as the holidays approach is I hunt for an amazing pair of shoes that can brighten up my look and my days. I can't find the exact words to describe how happy I am now to finally pick up these oh-so-adorable

bow ankle strap pumps from

ShoeDazzle

! I've seen people wearing  these heels on the street and in fashion pictures, and I'd been dying to add them to my shoe collection. Needless to say, I've caught a lot of people's eyes thanks to these babes!

I styled them up with a

black turtle neck sweater

, which is my current No.1 favorite versatile top, and kept the color theme going with a back jacket and bag to make the skirt and shoes pop. My seasonal look can't be completed without a hat, so I added this cozy white beret for a brighter touch. Nothing better than with a little bling, right? I adore these gold bar backdrop pearl earrings thanks to

ShopRoxx

!

Speaking a little bit of holiday makeup, I am currently obsessed with the new

NARS

eye shadow palette and eyeliner that I was gifted from them

. One of my favorite eye shadow colors is purple, and this was the perfect chance to try their shade of purple with a mix of silver. Their eyeliner is amazingly easy to create dramatically elevated eye effects!! The best thing about the eyeliner is that it has micro-pearls of blue, purple, green and gold suspended in its jet black color! Let's shine even more girls!

How will you dress up for your holidays?

Have a wonderful and fun TGIF sweeties!

Happy Monday LOVEs! How was your weekend?

Mine was great! It finally snowed in Seattle; it was very lovely and always love to see the view where everything is covered by snow. Even though I am getting older, seeing snow somehow makes me feel young just by thinking that I want to play so badly in the snow, like making a HUGE snowman or having a snowball fight! haha Have you ever felt the same way?

I also finished my last-minute Christmas shopping for my family in Japan during my weekend. The mall was crazily packed but I got a lot of nice gifts at such a great deal! I haven't gotten them anything for the last few years, so I can't wait to ship them to Japan and hopefully my family will love what I got for them! Another fun note from my weekend is that I watched

Captain Phillips

last night. The movie caught me from the beginning to the end, and I was really thrilled during the entire drama. There is no doubt that Tom Hanks is an amazing actor and I am so glad to watch the movie before it's done playing! If you haven't watched it yet, you should!

___________________________

Christmas is now within two days... Have you decided what to wear?

If yes, that's terrific! But if not, I hope today's post will help give you some idea for that!

This is the last look I styled with

the dress c/o

Shoproxx

. I really enjoyed styling it up in different ways and showing you how a simple dress can be changed into several outfits with totally different vibes just by the styling! I decided to wear the dress as it is. Then I simply put on some glam accessories, even using the same belt from the previous look, opted for a pair of fabulous sandals, and topped it off with the light camel fur coat to keep me warm. That's all. Easy but it's fantastic enough to become gorgeously dressed up!

The back cutout really elevates the sex appeal as well as the side draped details. I slipped down the shoulder to boost the appeal even more.  Don't forget to glam up yourself adding red lips. It's an all-time essential for party attire.  I intentionally chose this iridescent, shimmering beaded necklace to create not-too-literal Christmasy feeling to go with my red lips.

The gold clutch -

The Gatsby Clutch

 is also from

Shoproxx

and I love it so much! The geometric design is pretty cool and is a great size to store the girl's essentials in. The chain straps are removable so you can use it differently.

I am so happy to have this versatile, amazing dress!!!

Please check out

ShopRoxx

for more great and awesome stuff!!! I hope you like, love and have enjoyed the whole set of three looks! In case you missed the first and second look, just click the following link:

I mentioned

on the previous post

that since it's the holiday season, I'd love to give you some inspiration for holiday ensembles while wearing

this amazing asymmetrical dress c/o

ShopRoxx

. And here is my second look!

Unlike the first look, the second look is very elegant, feminine and classic. Honestly, I can't decide which outfit I like more since both looks are totally different, but I am very pleased that I was able to really manage to elevate my femininity with this look. I tried to keep the sophistication from head to toe. I styled my hair with an up-do curling my bangs, threw on a polished check coat, and chose a pair of red ankle boots and red mini satchel to give the look a little bit of pop!!

I could have simply worn the dress without layering up. But it's winter--I don't want to freeze!!! Well to be honest with you, depending on the look sometimes, I sacrifice comfort and dress with less layers.

I chose this really cute polka dot cardigan as a bundling-up item. I love how different the vibe comes out once the jacket is taken off. It instantly changes into a more playful look, doesn't it?

When it came to jewelry to finish the look, I picked

this statement bib necklace c/o

Kivi Meri

. They are a design boutique and offer hand-made jewelry combined with high quality natural and modern materials from Finland and all over the world with high technologies to create unique items. I am such a big lover of necklaces and I picked this snake print necklace because my favorite things are all in the necklace: animal prints and chains. You can effortlessly add this necklace to any outfit and it is great enough to upgrade your look with. Since the necklace is silver, I kept all other accessories within the same color hues, including this versatile killer belt from

Isabel Marant x H&M collection

So which look is your favorite so far, casual or classic?

Have a great Sunday!!!

Hi LOVEs! I am deeply sorry for not updating anything for a week!

Christmas is finally coming very soon!!! I know you are all so excited with this holiday!!

Did you know that Christmas in Japan is for couples unlike in America? So when I was in Japan most of my friends who DID NOT have a partner whined a lot about Christmas because of that! Me as a single living here, I don't have to experience THAT; I can just enjoy the feeling of the holidays!

I hope you have a special plan for your Christmas :)

Since it's the holiday season, I'd love to give you some inspiration for holiday ensembles!

Just in time, I recently received this lovely

asymmetrical hem dress from ShopRoxx

and it has been my current obsession! Whenever I see a dress, I always love thinking of how I can transform it to several looks because I don't wanna wear it only once or don't want to get bored wearing it in the same way over and over. So I decided to create three different outfits styling up with this dress to show you how you can style a dress in completely contrasting ways.

I was eager to achieve casual with my first look because this dress itself is really ladylike. I paired it with a Forever 21 bright blue cropped top (similar

HERE

)  and

PUMA knit beanie

. Blue is such a big, hit color for me this F/W as well as one of the trendy colors. I finally found a sporty beanie at the PUMA store in Bellevue Square when I was shopping on Black Friday! I love it because it's a great item to casual down.  The dress actually has long sleeves, yet I am fascinated with how the dress changed into a skirt by covering the top while you can also layer up. During the winter, you want to bundle up without looking so fat, right? lol I accentuated the look with all gold accessories, especially I really like

the heart shaped earrings from JustFab

!!!!  I opted for a pair of leopard boots to give the look a bit of a boost.

How did you like my first look?

If you like the dress, I highly recommend to get it for one of your holiday pieces because you will see how versatile it is after you see my next two blog posts!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone :) & stay warm

Hi LOVES!!!! Happy Monday & Happy Holidays!

Hope you have memory-making plans this week to cerebrate the holidays!!

A favorite color of mine throughout my entire life has no-doubt been RED! My name 'AIKA' means "The Sweet Scent of Affection" in Japanese, and red is always a representative color of "LOVE." I enjoy giving love to people, and this world needs a lot of love! I love my name and really appreciate my parents putting together such a sweet sentiment for my name!

Naturally, whenever I wear red, I feel better and it brightens up my day! I think the colors that are associated with being a "women" or "girl" can help to bring out the inner feminine spirit in you.  I am very thankful to the

Now I Style

team that I am currently working with, as they sent me this lovely and cute

over-sized jumper

. I adore it so much! The fit is a bit big for me, but I take advantage of it to wear it loosely. It makes such a statement piece for fall and winter thanks to its vivid color while remaining warm and cozy!

This look could definitely become a perfect holiday outfit, I believe. Since white is another great color for the holidays, I decided to add a lace bodycon skirt underneath.  I accessorized with pearl and gold jewelry to gram things up. I ultimately chose these amazing leopard booties, and they absolutely are great accents to complete the whole ensemble.

When it came to style up my hair, I wanted to achieve a dramatic hairstyle without sacrificing beauty.

Oh my gosh... I really cannot get enough of this hairstyle! I am quite pleased with how my purple hair gives an extra chic touch to the outfit. Here is how to create this hairstyle:

1. I styled a bigger-than-normal pompadour slightly to the side.

2. Curled my hair, back-combed/teased the curled hair to add more volume.

Got it? I love this effortless yet fabulous hair!!!

Now I am ready for the holidays with this outfit... <3

Maybe you will see me out on the town making all the guys look my way as I toss my hair as I walk on by!

What is your go-to outfit for the holidays??

Rounding Out Art Deco with Fox Fur

TOP: French Connection  |  SKIRT: Free People  |  TIGHTS: Japan  |  FUR COAT: GAP  |  EARRINGS, NECKLACE, & BRACELET: H&M  |  BOOTIES: NASTY GAL

I really love this look a lot just because I haven't worn a lady-like outfit for a while. Since it's December that means it's time to celebrate holidays, this look could be a holiday inspired look, I guess...

The top I found in Buffalo Exchange but originally from French Connection completely caught my eye so I couldn't resist to buy it, and my decision didn't fail at all. I should have taken a close look of it, but you still can see how amazing the details are. Plus, it creates a vintage looking; that's another reason why I really love this top because you know, vintage stuff are usually expensive in my opinion. lol
I didn't have any clothes that have such beautiful designs/details so this top is definitely gonna be my favorite statement piece.

Also I love mixing up all black accessories with different textures. It creates an appealing looking and am also happy with how the fur coat gives the elegance feeling to my look.
With this look I am so ready to enjoy my holidays with a glass of champagne and some delicious refreshments!

What's your holiday inspired look?
