Hi LOVEs!!!!
I hope you are all well! For the last few days, I've been feeling a bit discouraged because of sickness, and it's super hard to keep positive and get energized... Ugh I hate this kind of feeling </3 How do you guys beat the feeling when you are in a bad condition?

Sometimes, I really love playing with simple ensembles - just plain black and white. And I totally believe that you never go wrong with simplicity. To me, hair style is one of the significant parts of my style. I don't want to stick with single style. If you have followed me longer enough, you've seen me changing the color countless times for the past several years... and I've mentioned a couple of times already that it really affects how I want to style myself. Because I have this cool lavender ombre hair, going for black & white look is even more fun. It highlights my hair color so much.

I created the look with what I already had except my clutch. Adore the top with a sporty vibe paired with side zipped black skinny pants for a chic and sophisticated touch. Wearing a lightweight soft jacket definitely helps to refine your spring/summer look, and it is also a great way to layer up for a little chiller weather.  I love how this white biker jacket polished the look even more. I decided to finish the look with my new mirror embroidery clutch that I was gifted. This clutch instantly adds a festivity vibe and to my surprise, it goes with anything!! Just like a leopard clutch is always on point to any look! So I can't help but carrying it everywhere lately!

Happy Hump day cuties!

Hi LOVEs!!!

I guess I don't need to explain why I am sporting the color green today! Happy St. Patrick's Day! I actually wore this outfit a while ago with

a different coat

, so to be quite honest with you I didn't plan to wear this look as a  St. Patrick's Day outfit. But while I was doing photoshoot in downtown, a lady walking by us randomly told us "Wow, what a great outfit for St. Patrick's Day!" So this lady kinda convinced me to post this look today! haha

I actually have never worn a look that consists of a lot of green because I thought I'd never been able to pull the color off. But you know what? I love how it turned out! I got these awesome

green plaid leggings from

Lemonade Clothes

and decided to base everything around them. I like the contrast of green and white. It looks a bit edgy on one side, but the pussybow blouse gives a nice touch of femininity. I threw on a classic green cardigan for extra warmth and extra green hue to match with the leggings. I am so glad I opted for these yellow pumps as the finishing accent. It definitely helps make the green color pop, and yellow is always a great color to spice up your whole look! When I wore

this look with the coat

, I carried my

new fave backpack

, also from

Lemonade Clothes,

on the back. But for this look I carry it differently and I love how it can be styled in a flattering way as a regular bag.

How do you guys celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Hope you enjoy my green ensemble!

Hi LOVEs!!! Happy FriYAY!

It has been a crazy week and thank god it's almost the weekend! I actually really don't get to enjoy the weekend because I have to work, but still I embrace the feeling of them. After a week of wearing crazy high heels, curling my hair, and putting a little more effort into how I look, I enjoy the chance to kick back a bit on the weekend. Well, well... Who wouldn't? So when I fee like a break from the rigors of fashion, I got for a comfy and casual look. But that doesn't mean I don't want to stay stylish! I wore this outfit a month ago, and it is one of my casual outfits for those day when "I wanna take a break."

I got this amazingly killer gray long knit cardi from

Now I Style

, a Japanese brand, last year when I was an official blogger on their site. Since then, this has been my BFF! It's super comfy and cozy and keeps my whole body really warm because it seriously keeps out the cold. Even though I am so short, I am totally not hesitant to wear floor-length outerwear! Because who said that short people can't rock a floor-length item? Putting on a hat is also something I can't live without when I opt for a casual look. I chose this

gray beanie from

Forever 21

to go together with the cardigan, and a pair of fake glasses nicely add that playful touch. I decided to style it up with a total all white ensemble underneath the cardigan. Although it's winter, I like wearing a t-shirt for a loose fit, kind of like the feel of pajamas. And this

LeMotto

 tee

is totally loving and inspiring! I've been obsessed with these

TOPSHOP ripped skinny jeans

ever since I added them to my closet. I DIYed the ripped parts and added more of them around my thigh to make them look much cooler, and I am glad I did it! It gives me that excitement like "mine are better than yours!" I finished it off with silver oxford shoes to add a little bit of chicness. With the contrast of white and gray, I must say this look is one of the best casual looks I have put together!

Have a great weekend dolls!

Hi LOVEs!

Happy Hump day! Hope your day is going well so far!

I mentioned a few posts back that my parents and grandpa came to visit Seattle last month for the first time ever, and the days I spent with them were incredibly amazing and fun! I was especially happy to see my 79 year old grandpa, who remains so healthy and active, and I was very impressed that he is super adventurous, and a big eater!!!! No wonder he is still full of vitality! I wished they could have stayed longer or that I could have gone back to Japan with them...

My mom and I are very alike. I love giving people a surprise, and I think I inherited that personality trait from my mom.

During my parents' stay we were strolling around downtown Seattle and I saw a very lovely window display at

LOFT

While I looked at the display  I was muttering, "Omg! These heart print tops are so cute!" My mom heard what I said and asked me, "Which ones, which ones? :)" I pointed at the display and added "I can't buy them anyway, so let's go!" We walked away at the time. A few days later, while we were on the way back to their hotel, which was located in DT Settle, my mom told me, "I kinda want to look around the shops, so go ahead to the hotel first..." She refused when I asked to shop together. I wondered why she suddenly wanted to go shopping but rejected me going with her. After 30 mins or so, she came back to the hotel empty handed!  It was very weird that even after she said she wanted to shop she ended up not getting anything at all!

However, she totally tricked me, because she wanted to surprise me at the airpot. As I was seeing them off, my mom handed me a cute bag!! Yes!!!!! It was a gift of those heart printed tops I saw in  the display window the other day!! She also included a Starbucks gift card! I opened the bag when I got home, and needless to say I burst into tears and was full of appreciation and love! I was hugging the clothes with happy tears for a long time.

So that's the sweet story behind this outfit, as I am wearing one of those

heart print tops

that she gifted me. Not to mention, I LOVE THIS SWEATER SO MUCH! Not only because it's a gift from my mom, but because it's also super soft and warm yet effortlessly chic. The heart design is amazingly playful and the sweater's color is my favorite color for fall -- navy. Everything about it is just superb! If I don't have time in the morning but still want to be so stylish, this top is the perfect solution! I throw it on with a skinny and heels, and I am good to go!

I kept it in the same color family by wearing a denim skirt that I DIYed to create a distressed skirt, but I spiced things up with

my new pink fedora

and

metallic lace-up heels

. These ones are my current obsessions right now! The cuteness of the sweater naturally prompted me to do a side fish-braided hair to give extra appealing to the look, and these real stone rings that are also gifts from my mom don't overpower the look, yet they dazzle on my hands!

I will share a look with the other heart print top with you guys soon! Stay tuned!

What's your surprise gifts from your mom that you love at the most?

Hi LOVEs!!!!
Finally Seafair Torch Parade is over! (If you read the previous article or keep updated on my Instagram/Facebook, you know that I was performing the parade as a flag performer!) Even though I really miss my team and those crazy practices on the weekends, it's time for me to get back to the blogger life!!

As much as I love colors, I still love wearing monotone colors very much! And why not wearing them during summer? The basic colors never fail to be fashionable! And this time, I wanted to mix it up with a sporty vibe! I actually wore this look for a lead flag practice, yet I wanted to create something that is totally wearable on a daily basis. Sportswear as a fashion trend has been definitely enlarging for the past few years and even evolving as the years past. I personally feel that you can effortlessly achieve the trend by just throwing on a simple key item. I love seeing people making it to a sleek, sophisticated and luxurious ensemble which is far from the actual meaning of "sporty or athletic!" I am also fascinated that it could be a sex appeal, can form a very amazing laid-back look, and can even make an elegant and chic look.

I've been in love with this baseball cap and these faux leather short pants ever since I've owned, and can't stop wearing them! These are some of the perfect pieces to upgrade a sporty-inspired look! A baseball cap is currently my summer essential, especially for a bear-face day to cover my skins from the sunshine. I can't not resist anything that is practical yet so stylish! To accentuate a sportif mix,  I paired it with these awesome lace-up booties (They are super comfy!) A stripe crop top is very playful and helped me keep it cool from the heat! I love how the silver accessories perfectly go with this look. Not too bold, yet not too boring.

How do you want to wear the sportswear trend in the remaining summer?

P.S. I was totally speechless to see a breathtaking sunset during the photoshoot! I need to go there more since I now live closer!!!!

Rosey White Out

Rosey White Out

Wearing white in summer is fundamental, yet it is still considered to be a major look. This ensemble always remains a hot trend. It's impossible not to love how the crispness and how an all-white look can produce a crisp, luxurious and rich feeling?

Hi LOVEs!

Since it's summer, I want to play with vivid colors and try to avoid dark colors as much as I can! I am very comfortable in this dress thanks to the loose fit, and the lacy thin straps give it an extra feminine touch! This dress does everything! Unfortunately, the length wasn't quite right, even though I bought the smallest size.  As a petite girl, I really need to consider the length of the hem to provide the balance for the whole look. Otherwise, it could throw off the impact of the other parts of my outfit and become unremarkable.

Whenever I encounter this issue,of a lengthy hem, I always use a belt for a bit of a magic! I chose an

Isabel Marant x H&M

leather and metal chain belt, which would go very nicely with the silver pendant. Also, I like the combination of sweetness and metal accent.

This is my first time styling a fedora like this, and I LOVE it! This is a great way to style up a fedora during the summer time. Putting your hair up keeps the back of your neck cool from the summer heat. Also, can I talk about these killer

Jeffrey Campbell

ankle boots

? I'd been looking for summer boots over the years, and had had no luck to find them... But finally! I found comfortable yet funky ones also on

Nasty Gal

! I even scored them with 75% off!! :) Yeah, there was no reason not to get them!

I combined a leopard print scarf and a biker jacket for the night-time ensemble to keep myself warm!! Yup... Seattle is still getting chilly at the night time! :(

Did you like how I styled the slip dress? Hope you did!

Happy hump day everyone!

Hi LOVEs!!!!
I am deeply sorry for not being able to update the blog for 2 weeks!! I finally finished up everything associated with my move, and you know what? I loooooove my new place!!!! I can't wait to explore the new things around my new house! I found out that it gets me even closer to Alki Beach, which is one of my favorite places in Seattle! In summer, it's amazing to come home at the end of your day and spend your evening along the shore, felling touched by the speechless sunset with the smell of the sea! Such a great way to end of you day!

I hope you remember that I teamed up with an amazing apparel brand, MISSGUIDED to showcase a few items and to create both day and night looks with these items. Now it's time to share the night look with you guys! If you haven't seen the first day look, you can check it from HERE :)
When I was choosing this mint dress for this project, I was sort of concerned. I figure it would be no problem to style this dress to achieve a dress- down ensemble. Yet, I couldn't come up with how I was going to wear it for a classy night out because of the mint color. However, such anxiety immediately disappeared when it arrived and I tried it on. It was very easy for me to pull off a successful night look because the dress itself is just gorgeous!!!! This isn't the only mint dress; there are several different mint dresses on MISSGUIDED! I chose this one because I am obsessed with anything that comes with mesh details, since they are enjoying their moment in the spotlight right now!

What I did to create the night look wearing this pastel color midi dress was I slightly curled my hair, paired with pink gold metallic platforms also from MISSGUIDED, added a red lipstick, and accessorized with some key pieces of jewelry to elevate the seductive touch. Then, I finished the look by adding the pastel clutch bag! See? it was easy, right? These platforms definitely have become my go-to shoes for both day and night. Thanks to the platform soles, I can be comfortably tall! Yes, that is very important to me! No interesting details on the shoes, yet the metallic color never falls to be out of fashion! I was really blown away by how much MISSGUIDED carry killer platforms (of course other shoes, too!) under $100 with vast amount of varieties!

As a personal note, I totally enjoyed photoshooting this look at UW. I really appreciate the great job that James did to make this whole set so much fun! There are tons of breathtaking buildings and sceneries at UW. Even the single light stand can be the perfect backdrop to compliment the whole look! I can't wait to go back and find other fun places to shoot at!

I hope you love the pictures as well as how I styled the dress for the night look!

       Happy Friday sweeties
