Hi LOVEs!!!!
I am deeply sorry for being MIA for such a long time... My laptop was suddenly out of control, but I was finally able to upgrade to MacBook Pro with Retina Display! OMG! I love it to death! <3  I am also really happy to be finally back here!!!!

Lately, the Seattle weather has been amazingly beautiful and I can't help but enjoy it! I bet it makes everyone here so happy and smiling! Almost as if I anticipated the shift toward sunny weather, I was  prepared to enjoy it by getting my hands on this fabulous sundress from RVCA!  I am digging the tribal vibes this summer, one of the huge trends. This maxi sundress has marvelous exotic textiles! Since I am petite, I always have a difficult time to find a maxi dress that does not make me look short. So, when I ran into this dress at the ZEBRA Club, I strongly felt a bond with it. The ruffled neckline helps me cover my long torso, and the flowing bottoms give a playful look that makes me dance with the wind :) I also love how it looks from behind. I think this is the best sundress I've ever owned! The only thing I am not pleased about this dress is.... I have to wear platform heels to avoid walking with the dress trailing. But I will definitely wear this dress over the summer, and it will be on heavy rotation! I would like to go on a date with this dress and then want to go to a beach and walk with my date along the sea shore! That would be fun and romantic, wouldn't it?

To keep the tribal theme going, I accessorized myself with tribal-inspired pieces. The beaded strap necklace with a wood pendant gifted from my best friend is nicely harmonized with the dress. The flower hair corsage in my lightly curled hair with a half updo adds an extra feminine touch. Now if your hair style looks a bit lonely for spring and summer, I recommend to wear some cute hair accessories, like I did. A tiny detail sometimes changes the whole look completely.
I always love wearing stacked bracelets. I can do mix and match with whatever I adore but never look 'overdone' or 'over accessorized.' If you don't know how to do it or aren't bold enough to try this awesome 'armparty' method, I found a great article that is worth reading and gets you try it out!!

Happy Friday

I know I know, I may have told you that in my last post that it would be my last summer look. But.... every great look deserves an encore, right? lol I found this look in my collection of shoots and just had to share!

Ever since "Sporty" has become one of the trends, I've been adoring it and have wanted to try it out and add my own signature touch. I actually have been trying it with a number of my OOTDs that I post on my Instagram (Click HERE to follow me if you'd like!!) but I have never blogged about it, haven I?
I got this cool sporty cropped top from TOPSHOP.  At the same time, I'd received a care package from Charlotte Russe, and this Studded PU Trim Mini Skirt was included. So I just put them together and BAM!!!!
Look what I got!!! I extremely love how it turned out, and I should say it is spot-on a "Sporty Chic" look! Since I wanted the look to be sophisticated while keeping it sporty, I put on ZARA pointed heels and added a JustFab dark green square tote bag to add a touch of sophistication. Meanwhile, I threw on the summer mesh-sleeve bomber jacket and the brown sunglasses to polish off the sporty look.

Normally I tend to wear earrings that grab your attention or accessorize with eye-catching necklaces. However, this time I didn't do that. Can you see why? It is because I wanted to emphasize the CHUNKY ARMSWAG, and I absolutely adore how I put them all together!!!!

Seattle is now very chilly and it makes me feel like winter is around the corner!
Although I am not quite ready for this cold weather yet, I just can't wait to share how I am going to style my fall outfits!
I've been shopping many of the fall clothes lately (ughh as a fashion blogger, shopping is the worst enemy to get away from! lol), and I have tons of ideas for autumn looks in my mind! I really can't wait to showcase them soon!

I really hope you like/love my last summer outfit and my first sporty look!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

End-of-Summer Tribal

PLATFORM SANDALS (PICKUP BLACK NUBUCK): Steve Madden

-------------------------------------------------------

I was very pleased to receive a care page from Charlotte Russe (Thanks Ryan!!!!!! <3 ) in the beginning of August because CR is one of my favrite stores. Until now, I had only bought shoes and accessories there; I had not yet purchased clothing there. So the package was a pleasant surprise to me as there were many pieces that fit my style so well, and this tribal dress was my first pick!!!  I am so excited to finally blog about their outfits!

To start, I've  never attempted to wear a tribal print before, but this dress totally turned me onto tribal prints. It's super fun and dazzling because of the mix of colors and patterns. Another hot part of this dress is its double straps and the big cut-out details in the back. I just love these details because they bring out the decollate and the back. You ca see what I am talking about through the pictures, right?

The dress is a bit longer than I usually wear. So, I added the wide belt to adjust the length and also to balance top and bottom since I am short in stature and have short legs. Then, I paired it up with my new Steve Madden black platforms to add some height and make my look more flattering.

In order to elevate this tribal-print look, I layered up a bunch of chunky bracelets with colors and threw on this lovely straw hats, styling my hair up into a low bun to show off the beautiful back details.

Although the Seattle summer still heats up our daytime, it gets chilly when the night comes. This easy thin fabric green cardigan from Now I Style did a great job to keep me warm in the brisk weather. Just wearing a cardigan, either thin or chunky, is such an awesome and handy way to transition a summer look into a fall look. By the way -- I've became an official style blogger on the Now I style site! I will talk about it more in a future outfit post!)

Hope you like/love my tribal-print look!!!  Don't forget to check out Charlotte Russe both online and at a store near you! FYI -- Online CR store always does crazy deals like BOGO and MORE so I highly recommend you to sign up for their mail list to be sure that you won't miss those awesome sales!
