Happy weekend ya’ll! ♥️
It’s been so gloomy these past weeks in Seattle. I am still craving some sunshine. I know, some of you already are looking forward to fall weather and fashion. But as for myself, I’m not quite ready to say BYE BYE to summer just yet.
So, I think it’s perfect to share this bright and lustrous look in my super adorable lemon yellow dress today on the blog!
I love and enjoy wearing bold colors, and I absolutely can’t resist this dazzling yellow hue. Off the shoulder pieces are always my top favorites, especially because I have a comparatively big head with extremely narrow shoulders; so they really make my figure more flattering.
I adore the ruffle details but everything else is super simple and chic. I figured you could totally rock this dress as a pretty OTS top by tucking in any bottoms such as a high waisted pair of jeans, shorts or skirt.
I paired the dress with Kendra Scott accessories ( Shop: Earrings, Choker Pendant & Wrap Necklace & Brass Cuff ). I am obsessed with those turquoise earrings. This stone has been always my favorite since I was little when my mom first gifted her turquoise bracelet to me...
And she has launched the fall versions of them. I LOVE THEM IN EVERY COLOR!!!
If you are getting tired of your regular braids or are simply in need of changing up your go-to hairdo, I really recommend you to try these segmented aka bubble pigtails! This hairstyle is such a fun alternative to braids!
I’ve seen Sara of Collage Vintage does this bubble pigtails in low/high pony tail and it’s so adorable!! Also, it’s one of the easiest ways to add a playful vibe to your look! Believe it or not, it’s effortless to achieve!
By the way, just a little fun fact: It’s called “Onion hair/hairstyle” in Japanese! Haha
I hope this look will help you light up a gloomy feeling or even make your day more flashy as you enjoy the remaining summer days!!
