Hi LOVEs, and happy December!!! <3
You know, exactly a month ago tons of fashion mavens around the world were extremely thrilled to get their hands on the new Alexander Wang x H&M collection, including me, of course! The night before the collection was released, I camped out with my friends from 11pm!!! That's right, I spent  9.5 hours waiting outside, and I wasn't even at the front of the line! Luckily I was there with friends, and one of them lives 5 mins away from the store and another friend brought a tent! I know it sounds crazy, doesn't it? But it was TOTALLY worth waiting such a long time because I was able to pick up what I wanted to, and on today's post I finally can share with you guys my first Alexander Wang x H&M look!!!!

I gotta tell you, this look is by far one of my favorite street fashion outfits of 2014. Even though I've always wanted to own Alexander Wang pieces, I never had a chance before, so I can't thank H&M enough for collaborating with him so that the broader population could get cut-off versions of his clothes! For instance, I am totally obsessed with this white dress that definitely shows his outstanding design! Look at these laser-cut and sheer stripe pattens on the dress! It's so unique yet fashion-forward and polished. The amazing thing about this dress is its versatility... I could wear it as a dress or as a top! I can't wait to style this dress in many different ways, like layering up into an all white look!
For today's look I wanted to go for a grunge street style, so I paired with my favorite JC spike booties, accessorized with silver jewelry and a hologram bag to add some color, then topped it off by wearing a vampy lipstick. These "WANG" sunglasses are just so perfect for this look, and I love them so much! I literally have been carrying these killer ones wherever I go.

Hope you enjoy how I styled my picks from the collection, and please look forward to another AW x H&M collection outfit soon to be published, which also has a street style vibe but in a completely different way!

Have a lovely Tuesday and stay warm!

Hi LOVEs! Happy Friday <3

How's your week been going? :) Today, we have gloomy and cold weather in Seattle. Sad, right? How about in your area? If the weather is sunny unlike here, I am so jealous, but if it is just as bad as here, I hope I can bring some brightness from today's post!

If you follow my blog and my Insta (@aikaslovecloset, if not please follow me for the daily updates!), you may remember that I hosted a trunk show at SEE Eyewear in Downtown about a month ago. It was very fun and I was very happy it was successful, considering it was my first EVER event! So I decided to treat myself a little bit and went for shopping with one of my besties! On our last destination, we stopped by ZARA, and we hunted a few great pieces, which I am wearing on today's post! He found these gorgeous and super fashion-forward matching set (get yours! TOP & SKIRT) while I was trying others on. He has a quite good eye, doesn't he? :)
It didn't take even a few second to fall in love with them! My love of matching sets is definitely growing, and they are just so fa-bu-lous!!!!! The crisp and fresh color of blue and white totally wowed me, and they're STRIPES! The print is so playful and never goes out of fashion! What I love the most about these pieces is how the top is simple in front but the back has an interesting yet lovely look because of the zip and twin folds. On top of that, the skirt blew me away with the overlaid design, having a different style in front and back! What a fun matching set! They of course will look good separately in other looks! I can't wait to try them in a different ensemble!

I styled them with white pointy heels to keep with the same hues and to add extra crispness. The colors blue and white represent the wide blue sky, unfurled white sails, and the azure sea, and I already have a breathtaking statement necklace that rides the oceanic theme. Then, I like the earrings give a touch of antique-look.
At the first attempt assembling this look, I paired with a black bag. However, we have to change ourselves to ditch a dark color and incorporate more brighter shades into our outfits! I decided to switch the black bag to the two-tone bag with a vivid green! Challenge succeeded! :)

Do you like these lovely striped matching set as much as I do? How would you style them?
I hope your Friday finishes amazingly and launches you into a fabulous weekend!

Hi LOVEs!
After I shaved the side of my hair (which has been a liberating fashion adventure for me!! ), I've shown a tendency to wear more 'cool' and 'edgy' clothes that complement my hair style. But when I came across this so girly-inspired quilted skirt at Forever 21, my inner feminine spirit just had to be appeased, and I bought it without hesitation. Since I went with the skirt, then how about a nice sweater? This one from NOWiSTYLE is just right, since fuzzy knits are very on right now. They are so cozy and warm. But most importantly, they are strikingly eye-catching! And this white sweet knit with its super lovely details around the shoulder is such an irresistible piece. While it keeps you warm, that details add a touch of sex appeal without having to actually cover your neck during the frigid weather!!!

To elevate the girly vibe, I paired these burgundy velvet knee-high boots to the skirt's red rose prints, which really ties the look together. These boots actually could be worn in another way by folding the top hems. However, for this look the folded hem just didn't work, so I went with the straight boots and for a touch of cuteness I did DIY which I added the little lace-up details on the back. I am truly glad with the result because they look cuter from both front and back!

I believe that this outfit is adequately cute without a coat. But if you need a coat, I also am very fond of this leopard coat and fur collar scarf. Red (boots) and leopard prints are definitely one of my favorite combos. The Rebecca Minkoff Tote Mini is a simple but wonderful accessory, especially the way I slung it across my body, for a sophisticated finish.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day

My legs are short and I hate that :( They seem even shorter when I'm wearing pants.... Such a sad thing, isn't it? So I don't like wearing pants unless I am wearing heels. But, white skinny pants look cool and fresh, so I got this pair of white skinny pants at a thrift store last year. I wanted an "all-white" outfit, yet I love this animal graphic tank from MANGO so much I had to use it, too.
I didn't notice until now that I paired them with leopard booties and a zebra necklace, completing this outfit with 'animal items.

I really love the way this hat sits. I've never worn a hat this way, but now I think I should wear my hats this way more often. It's simple and easy, but is sleek and very stylish!!!!
What's your most favorite way to wear a hat?

Hope you like/love the look!!!!!

Girl in Winter White

PEA COAT: OLD NAVY  |  SCARF, SWEATER & NECKLACE: H&M  |  SKIRT: THRIFTED |  SUNGLASSES: NO BRAND  |  BAG, WATCH & EARRINGS: ALDO  |  BRACELETS: Charlotte Russe  | LITA CLAW: JEFFREY CAMPBEL @ NASTY GAL

Since I tend to style up my outfits with colors, this look is very fresh to me. The prime item on this look is my new LITA CLAW from Nasty Gal as my birthday gift so I really want the beautiful babies stand out. That's another reason for making this outfit with white and black. To be honest this is my first time wearing white-on-white look; it actually looks nice isn't it? I feel like I should make more of outfits like this!

Definitely LITA CLAW is one of my favorite boots! They are just RAD. I'd always had a strong desire to own a black LITA so these pairs are just perfect!!!! I am so happy that I got this as my birthday present <3

Also PEA COATS ARE so trendy right now. As Who What Wear mentions about peacoats, they are timeless appeal, military influences, and have ability to pull together any look. I feel the same way.
Mixing up with peacoats absolutely freshen up my look!!!!!
Pea coats are one of the must-have items this winter along with the other trendy coats like a military inspired jacket!

Although I love colors so badly, I am such a big fan of one of the spring/summer trends, WHITE ON WHITE!!!!!!! It's super duper easy to put on and it brings a lot of feelings to your outfit ; classy, pure, clean, fresh and cool.... How could I not dare to try this awesome trend?  Definitely my favorite easy-chic  look!!!! This is my first white on white outfit this spring, but I already have so many ideas of how I dress using lots of white colors! Personally, I am dying to utilize some light-weight & sheer fabrics.

I found some really lovely inspirational white on white outfits that I extremely admire!!!
