Hi LOVEs! Happy Monday!

I want to start off this post by saying THANK YOU SO MUCH for reading my previous birthday post and giving me a lot of birthday wishes on all of my social media channels! I felt so special and loved, and I am so happy to call you guys my friends and fans! You guys ROCK! I was pretty dead last week because right after my birthday party, I went to H&M to get in the line for the new Balmanxhm collection and waited for almost 8 hours. After that I had to get ready for a shoot and the UNIQLO launch party with only 30 min nap!! I will tell you more about each event along with the looks in the future!

Now onto today's look. A few posts back, I shared

my current beloved dress from

H&M

with you guys. I mentioned that I've created a look that highlights how versatile the dress is because it can be worn as a top. Well, here you go! :)

When I was young, I only got a small amount of pocket money from my parents and couldn't help but manage my clothing shopping within a budget. It was pretty tough to be honest with you, but that experience actually helps me wisely shop nowadays. Whenever I go shopping, it always becomes natural to me to picture in my head whether or not I can restyle a piece in another way if I purchase it. That's why I couldn't resist

this dress

, I could totally evoke myself wearing it as a top.

As fall arrives, I am getting into darker hues both in fashion and beauty and this fall trend, Neo-Victorian, is something I gotta love this season. The dress doesn't have sweet lace details, but its elegant high-neck ruffled collar and sleeve cuffs are just perfect enough to represent and enjoy the trend, right?I wanted to make the look with a mix of modern, so I went for a

mini flared grey skirt

and

silver heeled shoes

. Then, I added fringe earrings to accentuate the victorian vibe. Adding a pop of color always seems fun, which is why I finished the look with a

yellow mini bag/clutch

.

I really enjoy showing the versatility of the pieces and make them rework in a completely different result! So I hope I can show more of these on the future posts! What do you think?

Have a great evening, babes! ♥

Hi LOVEs! It's finally FriYAY!
I don't know whether or not my new hair color affects how I decide which clothes I wanna wear, but I feel like I am so into girly styles lately. Similarly, when I had side-shaved my hair, I was completely obsessed with more of an edgy style.  If you're a sucker for colored hair like I am, I wonder does that happen to you as you switch up the colors?
When Fevrie sent me this cute floral print sweater ( really sad to say that this piece is an exclusive item  which is cannot be bought :( ), I came up with this ensemble in a second. Chic and cute! Floral pints continue to grow in popularity for this spring/summer, and wearing gray for spring is still fun and in style. So this sweater is perfectly divine! Especially when I simply want to throw on a piece and don't wanna wear anything on top of it. Although I initially wanted go with the same color family from head to toe, unfortunately I don't own any gray pair heels. So I picked these cute sky-high platform heels. I am actually pleased with how these shoes give me more height and elongate my legs. Plus adding a black fringed bag to match these heels really helps balance the whole look. As for jewelry, these Rocksbox earrings and Petite Sesame necklace has been in heavy rotation. (Use "aikasloveclosetxoxo" to get your first month of jewelry FREE!) I appreciate we can finally celebrate showing off lovely accessories more as it gets warmer!

By the way, Fevrie is working on launching the Fevrie Tendance Project by bringing together top fashion bloggers and European fashion designers to create the first ever limited edition collection hand picked by your favorite fashionsita. To learn more and support the project please visit: http://bit.ly/febrietendance. Also, they are doing an awesome giveaway which you can win a $200 gift card! Cheers to the fab weekend!

Hi LOVEs! and.....

♥♥♥ HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

♥♥♥

I had hoped to post this look the day before Valentine's as my second V-day inspired outfit but was unable to because I left sick yestrday and had to spend time in bed to get some rest! But heyyy --- what is a better Valentine's present than a good outfit, huh?  Here you go! :)

This photoshoot was one of the best ones I've ever had! Not just because I really love the outfit, but also because I can't get enough of my new hair and color! And I am overjoyed with how beautifully my photographer friend, Eric, captured me through his lens... This series offers more head shots than usual... I just couldn't choose which one was the best! :P

Even though I can't share today with my valentine, this outfit is definitely the one I would wear to celebrate my day. While the first look highlights the color red and showcases cuteness and femininity for a younger woman, this outfit focuses on elegance and the seductive nature of a mature woman. That's why I styled it up with all-black to elevate the polished and chic touch, including the outerwear and the bag. Just a little note, the black fur coat is really a go-to item that you shouldn't miss this winter season. It keeps you bundled up for sure, and you can't go wrong wearing it with any style... I am so glad to have snagged this one when it was on sale for  ~$10 at

H&M

! Score!

I'd been looking for a skirt with some flares for a long time and finally found

the perfect one at

H&M

. Thanks to the ruffle hems, it gives a nice amount of charm to the look. How can I not love the skirt? Simple but elegant! I love the skirt so much!

Of course, I wanted to add some characteristic colors and items from Valentine's Day. So I topped it off with the

ASOS

heart print tights and

UrbanOG

pretty pink wedge heels. Oh, and don't forget to complement the look with gold accessories and a hint of red lips!

Wishing you all a very lovely and sweet Valentine's Day! Happy a day of love!!!

Kisses and Hugs xoxo

Hi LOVEs!
After I shaved the side of my hair (which has been a liberating fashion adventure for me!! ), I've shown a tendency to wear more 'cool' and 'edgy' clothes that complement my hair style. But when I came across this so girly-inspired quilted skirt at Forever 21, my inner feminine spirit just had to be appeased, and I bought it without hesitation. Since I went with the skirt, then how about a nice sweater? This one from NOWiSTYLE is just right, since fuzzy knits are very on right now. They are so cozy and warm. But most importantly, they are strikingly eye-catching! And this white sweet knit with its super lovely details around the shoulder is such an irresistible piece. While it keeps you warm, that details add a touch of sex appeal without having to actually cover your neck during the frigid weather!!!

To elevate the girly vibe, I paired these burgundy velvet knee-high boots to the skirt's red rose prints, which really ties the look together. These boots actually could be worn in another way by folding the top hems. However, for this look the folded hem just didn't work, so I went with the straight boots and for a touch of cuteness I did DIY which I added the little lace-up details on the back. I am truly glad with the result because they look cuter from both front and back!

I believe that this outfit is adequately cute without a coat. But if you need a coat, I also am very fond of this leopard coat and fur collar scarf. Red (boots) and leopard prints are definitely one of my favorite combos. The Rebecca Minkoff Tote Mini is a simple but wonderful accessory, especially the way I slung it across my body, for a sophisticated finish.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day

 Hi LOVEs!!!!
Did you have wonderful, memorable and amazing Christmas holidays and get everything you wished for? I really hope you did :) Both my Christmas Eve and Day were as great as I expected. Although I didn't have my family or boyfriend to celebrate with me, I could spend some fun time with my besties, having an astonishingly yummy dinner at one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Seattle (OMG! We ate soooo much!), opening gifts that I didn't expect to receive, and watching a movie, 47 Ronin that I had been dying to check out!
I also loved what I dressed for both days!! If you wonder what my outfits looked like, you can check them out on my IG @aikaslovecloset!!!

Today's post is all about BLUE!!!!!!
There is no doubt to say that BLUE is my top color this F/W. I just can't help it... Lately, I tend to go for blue clothes whenever I go shopping. So I was really happy when the Charlotte Russe team sent me this awesome Cobalt Blue Origami Skirt; I just about died! I really like the color-blocking part at the front. It is very comfy, and the fit is beyond perfect. On top of that, one of my current obsessions is something that has an asymmetrical shape, which is why I can't resist this skirt AT ALL!!!!
Since I wanted to make this skirt stand out, I paired with simple, inconspicuous colored items. I kept going for blue hues, mixing up with a blue snood and navy tote bag. To be honest with you, I got stuck on what outerwear I should combine with this outfit, then I ended up wearing a biker jacket...! Look how nicely it turned out!!!! It perfectly goes with the skirt and can even create an edgy vibe.

One last thing to say... I am definitely digging the LOVE midi rings from Just Fab!
Aren't they just so cute???

Happy Friday Cuties
