Hi LOVEs!!

I hope you had a very productive week and are so ready to kick off a fun weekend!

My week was super hectic, which is why I am writing this right now at 10pm! haha

I am so thrilled to share with you a comfy piece that I received from

UNIQLO

recently. To be honest with you, I really had no idea how I was going to style

this mint polo

when I received it because for me, polo shirts are something that I wear for the purpose of  playing sports! So I had to stand in front of the mirror for a while, wearing this polo to come up with some styling inspiration. Then, I came to the realization that I should go with a basic and casual look that could be worn as a day-to-day outfit! Styling it with a pair of denim pants seemed like the the right choice! Even though this is a casual look, I decided to wear platform sandals add a touch of sophistication and chicness to the look. Also, adding some height manages to balance it out (as always!!) You can definitely switch them out for to flats or sneakers!!

On top of the playful mint color,

this polo

is super lightweight and I love its fabric that features a breathable pique that dries out very quickly. On the day of shooting, it was really sunny. I was slowly sweating while searching for a location to shoot, but I was very comfortable in this polo shirt! As you may have noticed, I like to style it by turning up the collar. Some people don't like it, but I think it's a good way to not look frumpy! Even better looking with a big bun hairstyle if you have a long hair!

The price is super wallet-friendly, and

there are selections of 12 fun colors

including basic colors like white, gray and black! It's a perfect every day piece for the warming weather!

Sweet dreams! Oyasuminasai!

Hi LOVEs! It's finally FriYAY!
I don't know whether or not my new hair color affects how I decide which clothes I wanna wear, but I feel like I am so into girly styles lately. Similarly, when I had side-shaved my hair, I was completely obsessed with more of an edgy style.  If you're a sucker for colored hair like I am, I wonder does that happen to you as you switch up the colors?
When Fevrie sent me this cute floral print sweater ( really sad to say that this piece is an exclusive item  which is cannot be bought :( ), I came up with this ensemble in a second. Chic and cute! Floral pints continue to grow in popularity for this spring/summer, and wearing gray for spring is still fun and in style. So this sweater is perfectly divine! Especially when I simply want to throw on a piece and don't wanna wear anything on top of it. Although I initially wanted go with the same color family from head to toe, unfortunately I don't own any gray pair heels. So I picked these cute sky-high platform heels. I am actually pleased with how these shoes give me more height and elongate my legs. Plus adding a black fringed bag to match these heels really helps balance the whole look. As for jewelry, these Rocksbox earrings and Petite Sesame necklace has been in heavy rotation. (Use "aikasloveclosetxoxo" to get your first month of jewelry FREE!) I appreciate we can finally celebrate showing off lovely accessories more as it gets warmer!

By the way, Fevrie is working on launching the Fevrie Tendance Project by bringing together top fashion bloggers and European fashion designers to create the first ever limited edition collection hand picked by your favorite fashionsita. To learn more and support the project please visit: http://bit.ly/febrietendance. Also, they are doing an awesome giveaway which you can win a $200 gift card! Cheers to the fab weekend!

Hi LOVEs! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Today's look is all about layering and edginess, and this is definitely one of my favorite ensembles in all-black with a touch of color. People tend to wear dark colors during winter, and so do I. However, I love playing with some hues and making the look both edgy and fun. That way, I don't feel dull and sad. This is especially when you live in a gloomy and rainy city like I do!

I'd been on the look-out for a chunky v-neck pastel sweater for the longest time, and I finally found it on sale at

ZARA

a while ago. I normally wear  a small size, but decided to go with one size up for an extra bulky silhouette. At the same time, I scored this

light maxi wrap skirt on sale

as well. It's impressive that I can rotate the slit to whatever position I want to! I can put it on the side, front, or back. I adore the combination of an oversized knit with a maxi skirt. Since I had scored the perfect pieces, I figured I should try it on right away, yet it's way too cold right now to wear the skirt by itself, so I paired it with leggings underneath. I love the contrast of their different textures. Whenever I wear a maxi skirt/dress, I always style it with a pair of platform shoes to add some extra height. I picked my all time favorite booties for the added slimming effect.

You can never go wrong with a

biker jacket

to create an edgy vibe. And if you have a printed black and white scarf, that's even better to emphasize the vibe. These items aldo help you beat the cold. To complete this edgy look,  I opted for a

dark red lip stick

, and of course my awesome hair is doing such an awesome job!

Hi LOVEs!!!!

Hope your new week kicked off well! I was feeling under the weather yesterday, so mine started not as I expected staying at home whole day, but that helped me charge up a lot to go through this crazy busy week!

I think you know me now that my style is very unique and versatile influenced by American culture and Japanese culture where I am originally from. And my style goal is to pull off any kind of outfits from grunge and rock to chic and feminine. Since my hair is silver now, I wanted to take advantage of it to go for a grunge look again, which I haven't dressed up for a long time! I wore this look as my #OOTN for going out with my friends, but I realized it definitely works for a day look!

Plaid items are always perfect to create a grunge/rock style and can't get enough of how they can instantly add a pop of color to the look! Luckily I had this super lovely plaid peacoat! It's old but I can't get rid of this old cute number! So I created this look around it. I am a kind of girl who wears shorts during winter. Yes, some people probably call me crazy. Yet if you layer with tights and over the knee socks, you rock on! To emphasize the vibe, I purposely put on a suspender hanging down and paired with chunky platform shoes with lots of silver jewelry! I picked

wide brimmed hat recently got from

Romwe

and

dark toned red lip glaze from

AVEDA

as my finishing touch!

Do you like grunge looks?

Have a wonderful day beauties! ♥
