Hi LOVEs!!!!!
Today's post is a lot of different from usual ones. If you've followed me on my Insta & Snapchat ( @fashionistaika), I believe you remembered that I had a pleasure to do styling and modeling for the beautiful outerwear pieces designed by one of my besties, Angelina.

She was born in Okinawa, Japan, so it didn't take us that long to become best friends...Well maybe I should say, we are more like sisters!! (Insert that two girls are dancing emoji!)  She has been supporting me and my fashion dream with her heart, and I've been watching her great effort in her college and have known her huge passion for design since I met her. So there was no exact word to express how excited and honored I was to create something with her together and to do styling and modeling her amazing works.

Let me introduce a little bit of her as a designer:
She draw inspiration from her home of Okinawa and its culture. She has a passion for working with leather, fabric manipulations, and dyeing, and she also have a fondness for meticulous needlework. With those things in mind, she hopes to someday venture into the world of costuming, though she is eager to gain experience in every aspect of apparel design.

I am totally in love with her design and of course a big fan! I wish you could try them out in person because you will be stunned by her keen craftsmanship, and each garment is incredibly well-designed! What I love about her design the most is she really cares about the details, especially where it's not being seen, such as inside pockets and such. You have no idea how many times I said 'WOW' while wearing her piece! I wanted to steal the black blazer so badly, to be honest with you.. lol
Now that she graduated from her apparel design degree. And she is already on her next journey as a designer, which she is moving to LA soon to expand and polish her expertise. I will certainly miss her a lot, but I am so happy for her next step! I am your biggest cheerleader, Angie! GO GIRL!!!! <3
Special thanks to Daniel for this amazing work of photography!

Please visit her website for more of her works and who she is, and if you have any interest in purchasing a piece or having custom work done, contact her through the website!

I hope you enjoyed all the images as much as I do!
Happy hump day everyone! ♥

Hi LOVEs! How's your week been so far? I hope it's been a wonderful and productive one!

Today's post is all about BLACK (and edgy)!!!!! Ever since I finally turned into a "little mermaid" thanks to the talented Miguel at

Foxy Cut

, I've been so into a minimal, classic, monotone colored pieces. When I went to Portland a few weeks ago, of course I had to take advantage of "no-tax" shopping. Then, I snuggled this super soft

ribbed knit midi number at

Forever 21

! It's a little challenging to rock the dress with this length for a petite girl like myself, but its comfiness totally got me buying this number. It's literally like a pajama! haha

I loooove #allblackeveything and #whiteout themed looks especially during the summer just because I don't have to use a lot of brain power to think of what to wear in hot HOT weather! So I decided to style the look centered on the dress with black items: black strappy sandals, and a black mini bag. Yet, I spiced it up by adding a

purple lipstick

( a killer match for my hair, right?!) and

these awesome mirrored sunnies from

Polette

, which is a must item for summer! Needless to say, my hair is doing a freaking great job at adding a perfect spice on the look!

How do you like wearing all black during the summer? Yay or Nay?

Hang in there, babes! It's almost Friday!!!!

Asian Barbie Doll

#TBT to the days I was rocking this barbie doll hair.

Photographed by James Chrosniak  //  Pike Place Market

Hi LOVEs!
Happy Thursday! One more day till the weekend, but I feel like "Wow, it's already?!?!" :)
Thursday means #tbt, right guys? James and I did some unplanned night shoot with a flash light on the day we shot this outfit at Pike Place Market a while ago. Although we were just playing to take snaps, I am actually so stocked with the results. I edited the pictures adding a film filter to make them look as if taken by a film camera. What do ya think?

If you follow me on social media, you know what my current hair looks like. It's a kind of gray (I seriously don't know what to call this color) and I just can't get over it. But in general I naturally end up loving whatever color I go for, even the colors that fade out later on. When you keep constantly changing your hair color, you sometimes don't remember what your last hair color was. So, that happened to me and I totally forgot that I was a blondie after my old silver hair was decolorized until I accidentally found this set a few days ago. I used to dream of having a blond hair when I was a teenager. So funny I really didn't think I would rock the color during my late 20s. I guess I wasn't courageous enough to go wild?
I've booked a hair appointment next week and couldn't be more excited to meet new myself with a fresh colored hair! Make sure to follow along via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Snapchat (@fashionsitaika) to see what color I am going to sport next!

Have a wonderful day, cutie pies!

When the Phillip Lim 3.1 for Target Collection was released, I was lucky enough to be able to pick up what mostly I wanted to get: the Boom Sweater and Satchel Mini Bag. With no doubts, I adore the collection very much and just fell in love with how cool and fun both items are!

There are lots of trends you could follow this season, and Club Kids naturally has become one of my favorite styles! It's fun, fresh and bright. But most importantly you can go freaking crazy to style up yourself! That's what it is all about with today's look.
I received a BAD-ASS spiky cap (OMG! I've never seen such a crazy cap like this!) and gold bracelet set from the Charlotte Russe team in one of their care packages (YES!!! I've even got the third one just a few days ago!!!! Thank you CR <3 ) When I first looked at the cap, this look immediately popped up in my head... The look itself seems very simple, but the cap and the sweater definitely speak to it! I paired up with Forever 21 Faux Leather leggings, Urban Outfitters spike cuff earrings, and Jeffrey Campbell LITA SPIKE boots to upgrade the look even more.

To finalize, I added a bit of dark-hued color to my lips! I don't know why the tincture of my hair looks really beautiful yet it blended amazingly with the makeup! I also really like how the whole fit creates the essence of 80's vibe!!!

Do you adore Club Kids trend as much as I do?
Hopefully I will be able to share other Club Kids trended look down the road!

Happy Holidays LOVEs!!!
