Hi LOVEs! HAPPY MONDAY! I hope you had a lovely weekend!!

As you may have noticed already that today is all about these two colors: black and blue.

Jason

is my new photographer friend, and it was so cool that we spotted this neat place with the blue shutter as backdrop! Since I was wearing blue already, I wasn't quite sure if it worked or not, but it totally did! So glad I trusted Jason's intuition! Doesn't it nicely contrast with my look, does it?

When the fall hits on us, it's the time to hunt for a new outerwear, right? I recently got

this lovely printed embroidered cropped jacket from

She Inside

. I adore the print, of course, and it comes in double pockets! The material is cotton blends, so it IS actually warmer than it looks! I like a jacket like this one because you can definitely dress up or down.

Underneath of the jacket, I went for just black and blue to keep the same hue going on, also because I have been into all-black ensembles more than EVER!!! I DIYed these

skinny jeans from

H&M

because that way, it gives a cooler vibe. I unhesitantly grabbed sizers, and made holes, then ripped them!  Instead of wearing a simple black top, I switched to

this lace chiffon top

, which I like it a lot! A top like this one is such a great substitution for regular tops you wear all the time! When you wear all black, adding a statement jewelry is a must, to make it more appealing.

This gorgeous oversized necklace

is something you appreciate having it! Without a single doubt, this will be my top statement necklace for a while!! If you haven't owned one yet, you can get it at

Mirina Collections

with a code "

AIKAS20

" to get 20% off sitewide!

Hope you enjoyed the look!

Have a great start to the new week, dolls! ♥

Hi LOVEs!!!
We are all so excited to see the streets covered up with beautiful orange leaves, and we definitely need more cozy knits, pretty coats, and OTK boots! I know, I know...! But it doesn't hurt anyone to dream of warmer weather with this amazing white dress, right? ( loving these dresses, here, here, here)  A few posts back, I shared this look where I wore this dress as a perfect midi lace skirt. Do you remember? So this is how the dress looks like, and I can't help but love its wide open-back detail. It's sexy yet lovely, which is perfectly wearable from day to night. Or even for a special occasion! Every girl needs a stunning white dress in her closet, and this number is definitely the one for me at the moment!!
I am so glad that big bring is back this season. I've seen that this dainty jewelry has been such a hot trend, and I've been embracing it! However, this fall & winter, oversized sparkling jewelry made its return! To be really honest with you, I am all about gorgeous statement jewelry, and my jeweled earrings bring this white dress look to a more glamorous and alluring level!
Midi length is sometimes very tricky to style in, especially if you are short like me. Paring nude heels is always the best solution. I love how this feminine look is changed up to be more edgy once putting on a biker jacket!! Which do you prefer, with or without?

Please take extra care guys, I got a cold yesterday and had to be in bed whole day to recover! No good!
Stay warm everyone!

Hi LOVEs!

As much as I love all the seasonal delicious food that contains pumpkins during this season, (my favorite is always a pumpkin cheesecake my mom makes!), I can't get over the feeling of getting snuggled in a chunky scarf!! Recently I scored this

Forever 21

oversized grey scarf

! It's amazingly soft and lightweight, yet thick enough to keep you warm from the cold weather. The color is light grey so it can go with any looks or outerwear as the colder weather sets in!

I decided to share with you guys two ways of wearing an oversized/chunky scarf right now - another way is to coordinate it as a poncho! Today I am sharing the first look, which I am just simply rocking the scarf wrapping around my neck!

Since the late summer,

I showed the all-grey look

because I love the ensemble in addition to all-white and all-black! My obsession still keep growing, and that's why I paired the scarf with the grey sweater. Since the scarf is light grey, I wanted to keep the same tone palette into the look. But I didn't wanna wear the same grey maxi skirt I was wearing for the all-grey outfit post. Also, I didn't have any bottom in blush/pastel. So I decided to wear my

white lace dress

as a perfect lace midi skirt, and really love how the look turned out! If you follow me on

Instagram

, you've seen me a few times already in these

bold cobalt blue booties from

JustFab

via

ShoeDazzle

! They are my serious obsession right now! Although these babes are NOT as versatile as black boots due to the vivid color, it's definitely a perfect pair for a touch of playfulness, especially now that the weather is getting gloomy!!

I can't wait to show you guys the other look with this scarf worn as a poncho!

Happy Tuesday, sweeties!

Hi LOVEs!
It's finally Friday and even better, it's Labor Day Weekend!!! Woot Woot! Do you have any awesome plans, sweeties?
First and foremost, thank you all so very much for the lovely and warm messages on the previous post whether you left them on here or on my social channels. It gives me a lot of courage and smiles, and it's good to know that we are all connected somehow and feel like we are not alone!<3

For the last several days in Seattle, the weather dramatically changed! It has been rainy and the temperature has dropped down like crazy! I wore my first cozy knit yesterday, and I totally wasn't ready for that! I still feel like I haven't checked everything off from my summer to-do list yet! I am really excited to share today's look, because it gives a fun summer vibe!
I got such a cute off-shoulder mini dress with lace sleeve details from New Dress, where you can get everything at extremely affordable prices! I was a little bit disappointed when I received this dress, because it is a bit too long. Well, I think it may be because of me, since I am super petite! haha
As always, I added a black belt to adjust the length, and it actually ended up better looking. It looks like a romper! I opted for a pair of lace-up wedge sandals to create an easy, breezy look.  Thanks to the off-shoulder design and lace elements, I love how the entire look is elevated with a touch of elegance and femininity.
Because of my hair, coordinating myself in monochromatic colors is really captivating me. It was really natural to select black items to finish the look - my all-time favorite brimmed hat and these new sunnies (only $3.05! Can you believe it?!) from NewDress. This look wasn't for a festive theme or anything, but the combination of a faux suede fringe bag and this lace off-shoulder dress is definitely perfect for that occasion! Maybe I can wear it next year?!

Hope that you all have a fun & amazing Labor Day weekend! I am planning on seeing my girl friends from LA, I am so excited! Make sure to follow me along on Instagram & Snapchat (@fashionistaika)!!!

Ciao, cutie pies! ♥

Hi LOVEs! How are ya?
I wore this outfit when I went to SEE Eyewear launch party a while ago... I definitely love the combo of lace on lace. I was pleased with outcome and that the whole outfit looks like one complete dress with two different patterns combined on top and bottom. Because of one-color hue, it helps one look taller by creating an "I" figure. Thanks to the lace patterns, the skin is peeking through the clothes -- emphasizing sex appeal. I think it's safe to say that all black could be worn in Spring if skin is still showing. The lace skirt is adjustable, so I made it a midi-skirt instead of a maxi-skirt so that I could wear black socks to go with. Wearing ankle socks in any shoes is such a great idea, especially during the season when you can't wear boots because it's too hot, and you can't wear pumps or sandals either because it's too chilly. Since this outfit was for an eyewear brand launch party, I mixed a pair of black flamed fake glasses for a little playful accent and then accessorized with silver jewelry.

Now that the season is switching to spring, and it's time to let the dark clothes sit back in the closet and bring out the bright colors to play. I love black biker jackets, but I needed to update my wardrobe with some new dazzling pieces. Then, I picked up this insanely awesome pastel biker jacket from ZARA. Seriously it keep blowing me away every time I wear it. Everything is just on point! Beautiful pastel blue, its design is a bit of boxy structure that helps to stay on my narrow shoulders when wearing it over-the-shoulder. Just wearing this jacket alone is super trendy! I am even obsessed with its back silhouette. Because the jacket is pastel blue, I paired a watch with a blue bungle to match and make it pop out of the all-black ensemble.
Whenever you are struggling with  which shoes you should go for to complete the look, pick a pair of nude shoes. You'll never go wrong with them, and they are magically harmonized with any outfit and any occasion!

Wishing you a very wonderful week, sweeties!

Hi LOVEs!!!
In past interview about me and my fashion,  the first few question I was always asked were 'how would you describe your style?' and 'what is your fashion/style inspiration?" I would quickly answer these questions with: "my style is "diverse and versatile." Ever since fashion became party of my life, I have been inspired by the variety around me.
Of course, I receive the most inspiration from the environments that I live in. Japan is a world innovator in fashion, with tons of independent and home-grown styles seen on the streets of Tokyo, as you may be aware... Although I didn't dress in all of these styles, I used to check our many of the fashion magazines and became familiar with the specifically features the particular fashion styles. Some were really crazy to me and not quite my style, but I still studied from  for inspiration. Then, I came to America, which is considered to contain one of the most diverse populations in the world. The fashions of so many cultures come together here in America. I believe my fashion is heavily inspired by both American and Japanese cultures, and so crating my own individualized look from these two influences has become my signature style.

With that in mind, unlike the previous post, today's outfit is totally different, isn't it? Once in a while, I love dressing up in a style inspired by Punks, Club Kids, and Street fashion. I got my inspiration from a Boy London style to achieve today's outfit featuring Dress To Kill Miami. I was ecstatic that they asked to work with me because they carry the styles that I love. In this outfit, I am wearing their Girls Just Wanna Have Fun tee & Lonton Trash Ceres Zebra Calfhair Heels. No doubt these instantly became my favorite pieces. I normally wear size Small, but I picked Medium to wear it oversized. Even still, it fits me just right!!! No explanation is needed for these kick-ass shoes. They are now the tallest and craziest shoes I have in my closet! lol I am a big shoe fan, and I am especially crazy about platforms. The elastic bands across the top of my foot (or vamp) give the right amount of sex appeal, too!

If you keep an eye on what is trending, then you know what the next big hit will be this spring and summer, right? Yes, SPORTY!!!! A handful of spring collections on runways channeled a SPORTIF touch fused by modern fashion, and I can't simply ignore the trends. It's too cool not to try it and super easy to achieve!!! So I went with these leather jog shorts and a men's backpack and accessorized in a studded gray beanie by Shop Chic Stud LA and gold accessories. Wearing the white lace sleeve top underneath of the T-shirt completely topped off the look and is great way to add that touch of femininity that can sometimes be lacking in street fashion.

So why not try your own hand at styling it up?
You can shop the T-shirt and zebra heels as well as other awesome pieces at Dress To Kill Miami with 10% off any order over $75 using the code "BABEAIKA"! Don't miss this special offer!

I hope you all have a lovely day!

----------------------------------------------

I am very pleased with this beautiful weather in Seattle lately, as sometimes the temperatures are hitting over 90 degrees! Since fall is soon approaching, I want to enjoy Seattle's short summer even more with some bright outfits in these final few weeks.
My theme? Let's stay cool yet fashionable during the remaining summer!
I can't take my eyes off how this tropical print top goes perfectly well with my lace skirt. Orange is one of my favorite colors in summer and when I ran into this amazing lace skirt as browsing TOPSHOP, it blew me away!!!! What an great skirt to make a statement!
I am such a big fan of lace, yet I don't have much lace in my closet. So I was super happy I could get this beautiful lace skirt. Also, as fall approaches I can still rock this skirt mixing it up with some fall items, such as a motorcycle jacket, a cropped sweater, a plain shirt, a tailored blazer, and MORE!

Until this summer, I'd never tried out a tropical print. But you know what? Now I feel obsessed with tropical prints because just wearing one can  instantly add a summer vibe to my look. This top is especially amazing. The print is not a plain design; it looks like a bunch of summer evening beach shots of Hawaii have been randomly combined. Not only that, the back is very attractive because of the cutouts, which I like the most about this top.

When it came time to choose my heels, I picked my new barely-there-heels to tone down my look since both top and bottom are bright and really stand out. Although these are simple black heels, I really love the details of them. The chunky cylindrical heel makes the heels especially interesting
.
One last thing. How wonderful is this double chain necklace? It's from TOBI (you can buy it HERE) and I really appreciate that it's double chains, not simply a single one. This necklace definitely is a perfect piece for any occasion, and every girl needs a simple necklace that can make a bold statement all by itself.
Hope you like/love my "let's-enjoy-summer-more" look as much as I do!
What's your essential piece(s) to enjoy the rest of your summer?
