Hi LOVEs!

Red is always my favorite color and forever will be. To me, since my name consists of the meaning of "love" in Japanese (Ai = Love), red seems to be a perfect color, representing who I am. Whenever I wear clothes with red, I feel like I truly become myself.  I believe that everyone also must have a particular color that is very symbolic to you :)

This red scuba knit fabric dress courtesy from

Charlotte Russe

is one of the bodycon dresses I am very fond of. Talking a little personal, I don't feel good about my breast size because they are not sexily big and wish to have a bit bigger ones :P That's why, I am quite uncomfortable wearing a dress that has a wide open-cut in the middle of chest, although I REALLY want to try out those dresses just because I personally consider them sexier and more attractive. However, this dress can magically cover my inferiority while still helping me pull of the sexiness. Generally, red dresses are much bolder than black dresses thanks to the bright color, so it's awesome to have one in your closet when you wanna go for a more conspicuous look.

I love the notched neckline

that shows off the right amount of shoulders, creating a sassy silhouette. The mesh cut-outs around my thighs add a flirty peek-a-boo and a can't-miss twist. Plus, they create the magic of elongating my legs and making me look slimmer.

When I came to select the shoes, I couldn't make a quick decision (in a good way, though!) because I have too many shoes to choose from! But soon my eyes settled on the right pair! I scored these amazing open-toe pumps with interesting details on the heels and soles at

Crossroads Trading Co

., and they perfectly compliment the look. Also, they integrate very well with the black and gold accessories! And of course adding red lips is always a great way to complete evening and dressy looks for the finishing touch!

I should have published this post on either Friday night or weekend, not in the middle of the week because I feel that is more appropriate. Hopefully you like this look, though, and I can give you some inspiration to your night-out look for the upcoming weekend!

Happy Thursday!

Hi LOVEs! Happy Friday <3

If you are a lover of fashion, you don't wanna miss the BIG fashion events that are going on right now.
YES! Fashion Week Winter/Fall 2014!
New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week have just finished, and we are now switching to Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. It sucks that I am here in Seattle when I want to be there in the middle of the fashion! Still, one of my favorite things to do during this time is to go through the heaps of street fashionistas' photos!!! They are insanely fashionable and give me tremendous inspiration. I literally spent a few hours looking through them in a single day recently. I just couldn't stop! All the outfits are incredibly fashion-forward and are beyond on point! You can check on them via my Pinterest if you'd like!
As a fashion blogger who aims to be active worldwide, it is one of my biggest dreams to become one of them. On top of that, if the street photographers captured me in one of my outfits during my visit, omg... it would mean the world to me! I know I can't make the dream come true right away, but I will realize my dream one day for sure. Who said that I can't DREAM BIG??
Although I am not physically able to attend the Fashion Weeks, it doesn't meant that I can't dress up as if I am there, does it?

Today's outfit would be one of the ensembles I would wear at a Fashion Week. It is fully inspired by the french style... And I tried to create an inspired look by putting my favorite pieces all together. A turtleneck top is definitely a winter essential, and I paired it with an A-line camel leather skirt and a wide belt. I can't stay away from knee-high boots. They are not only cute but are also super practical to protect you from the winter cold. And I've worn these brown ones from my mom countless times! I accessorized with gold and black jewelry for a high-end touch. Thanks to the military cap, it elevates the french vibe even more. Anything in plaid is so trendy and this TOPSHOP plaid long coat is way too fabulous piece to resist... It wowed me when I saw it online, and my sweet best friend gifted it to me as a Christmas present! :) It IS a bit big on me, but I don't care. It's such a great piece to bundle up and is definitely stylish and a head-turner.
If you were going to a Fashion Week, how would you dress up?
Hope you have a fun and lovely Friday!

Hi LOVEs! Happy Monday :))) Did you all have a wonderful weekend??
Last Friday I went to my friend's farewell party. It was such a blast <3 Not only did I met tons of new  people, we partied and had an amazing time until freaking 7am!!!! She is from Taiwan. We don't get to hang out all the time, but we both know we are good friends. She has been supporting my fashion and dreams for a while and whenever she sees me, she always gives me lots of compliments on my outfit! We always end up talking about old fond memories, and  how we've both grown up since then...
You know, I love living in America because I know my life belongs here. I feel like the dreams I have only make since in America. Nonetheless, one of the hardest moments is saying good bye to my beloved friends that leave/will leave the states. I never get used to that. Anyway, I was so pleased to see her for the first time in a long time. Especially right before she is moving back. I wish her all the best because she also has her dreams in Japan!!!! :)

I believe that you are very familiar with this fabulously amazing jumper!! It's one of the popular collection pieces from Isabel Marant x H&M last year. Ever since I've brought this one, I've never stopped loving it!! haha
This jumper is seriously a standout winter essential. It looks warm and cozy while being extremely stylish! I paired it with a denim mini skirt and leopard boots, for a more casual look. If you have seen my fall/winter outfits, you might notice that my outfits can't be completed without HATS! I am kinda sad that it covers up the saved side though. This lovely navy military cap is also my pickup from the collection, and I am so in love with it! Just the hat itself has the french vibe. So adding it to any outfit can effortlessly upgrade your look.
Don't shy away from the pastel colors this season!! Pastel pink is my current obsession! With it, I added just right amount of the sweetness to my bag, and a different pink to my lippie.
I really like this look because it combines both casual and chic feeling in it!

Hope your new week is going well!
As always thanks for stopping by!

Charming Charlie Grand Opening Event!!!

-------------------------------------------------

Today's post is all about a new store named Charming Charlie which opened in Redmond, WA!!!
I had never heard of this brand until I received an invitation for the Grand Opening event, which is really too bad for me! Now that I have been there, I really adore Charming Charlie now!!!
The new store had its launch last weekend (Oct 15th) at the Redmond Town Center. The exterior is quite lovely with its bright pink door and wide glazed windows -- as you can see in the first picture.

Before I start talking about my shopping experience at this shop, allow me to introduce Charming Charlie a bit...

"Charming Charlie made its debut in 2004 with one very colorful and clear mission: help very woman, everywhere, find her fabulous. We're crazy for color. We live for sparkle. We thrive on making a statement. Why? Because we know accessories have the power to transform both your outfit and your outlook.  Jewelry, handbags, eyewear, scarves, shoes, and more all grouped together in your favorite colors -- thousands of accessories in one store! Plus friendly Charmeres ready to help you unleash your one-of-a-kind style -- we call it finidhing your fabulous. From the tip of your tiara to the point of your pumps, Charming Charlie wants to bring our your most fabulous, fierece and fun self every single day. " (Cited from www.charmingcharlie.com)

You know how much I love to accessorize, and I really love how all of the accessories and jewelry are displayed throughout their store! I've never seen a store that organized by color the way they do. The layout allows you to mix several pieces together in similar shades. For example, you could layer a few ( or MORE) necklaces in the same colors but in totally different textures and shapes... How fun is that? To a person who loves layering like I do, this store is definitely now on the regular visit list. The sales reps are also very friendly and inviting, and they are all well-dressed with Charming Charlie pieces!!!! I kept asking them the same question: "I love the necklace you are wearing! Where can I get it?" They are like walking mannequins! lol

I am very fascinated with the store displays as well. The stunning shiny chandeliers, white boxy in-walls with tons of lovely items, European-inspired huge mirrors... I was very satisfied and overjoyed just as I strolled around the store! As you shop, you will surely be inspired thanks to the thousands of accessories! It was so extreme that I had so much trouble deciding what I SHOULD buy! Their well thought out displays give you plenty of awesome tips on how you can mix and put accessories and jewelry together!!!!
Have you ever felt that you were looking for something but could't find that perfect right thing you really wanted?
Well, you can say goodbye to that feeling now! Charming Charlie can solve it right away. Now you can go to their store because CC is where you can find exactly what you are looking for...

Here are the items I bought, and I love every piece so much!
They are offering a Buy One, Get One Free deal, so I took advantage of it to buy the gold necklace and earrings and saved some money! :)

Did  you like what I got from Charming Charlie???
You can buy some of the items online as well!

(Available in 5 colors: Black, Dark Blue, Orange, Red, & Wine)
(Available in 3 colors: Black, Light Brown & Light White)

A special thanks to Kimberly for the invitation to have me tour the store!
I wanted to share this little gem of a store in case you hadn't heard of Charming Charlie  and I hope you can be inspired by my shopping experience there! Make sure to check them out online or/and in store if you live near by them! (Here is the direct link to STORE LOCATOR!!)

Have a great one!
