Hi LOVEs!!!
How was your weekend? I hope you all had a wonderful mother's day weekend and that you could share it with your beloved mom! I wasn't able to celebrate this sweet holiday with my amazing mama due to the long distance between Seattle and Japan. How sad... It sucked, and then seeing a lot of fun and smiling pictures of everyone with their mama bears definitely made me miss my mom so much more, yet those photos put a smile on my face at the same time! I used to fight a lot with her, like literally every single day, when I was a teenager. However, those memories have deepened my gratitude toward her and strengthened my love, especially now that I've lived so far away from her for almost 6 years. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."
Although I couldn't spend time with her, my weekend was pretty crazy yet undoubtedly amazing! Did a lot of shooting, so I can't wait to share the sets with you guys soon! Don't forget to follow along for future fun moments on snapchat (@fashionsitaika) !!!!

What's your all-time favorite piece in your closet? For me, I would surely choose this pansy-printed trench coat with corset lacing details on the back! It didn't take me so long to fall in love with it due to its extraordinary attributes. The quality is unbelievably amazing, and what makes this coat so adorable is that it's a classic trench with a little bit of flare at the bottom.  I love the blue stripe print lining - a great contrast with the flower print, right? I scored this cutie a few years back durgin Black Friday at Anthropologie. Since then, I always look forward to spring just because I can wear it! It gives me a lot of happy feelings, which makes me want to twirl like in these pictures above!
I styled this look with the trench coat in mind, so I decided to wear a plain black cropped top and a vivid orange skirt that has flower lace details to go with the coat. Wearing something bright emphasizes the spring vibe in this look. Even a dazzling pink color, too. These nude platform pumps are definitely complimentary to the trench coat, and I am always so thankful to them for the magical way that they elongate my legs! I really like the little pearl accessories that I decided to put on as a finishing touch. The pearl choker necklace and the earrings aren't a pair, but they look good together and I love how they add some intrigue to the plain top. I am all about playing with lovely jewelry. I think you know that by now!

Happy Tuesday, sweethearts!

Hi LOVEs!!!

It's so gloomy and chilly today in Seattle. How's the weather where you are?

If it is as bad as my city, I hope today's post will brighten up your day because there are a lot of sweet & twirling moments! :)

Another day with my beloved

camel hat

outfit! Just like today's temperature, I still needed to cozy up in a sweater or layers, so I chose this super lovely bell sleeve cropped pullover to create a "spring natural" ensemble along with the hat. I am so glad I styled them with a flowy maxi skirt because it really complements the look, and it gives the look a nice feminine element.  I actually haven't worn this maxi skirt for a very long time because to be quite honest with you, I didn't know how to style it due to the length - I felt it's too long for my height. But it turned out really flattering! I love it when I can give life back to whatever piece has been hiding in my closet unworn. Since this skirt is extremely light and flowy, it could be fun to wear it again for other spring looks! Maybe with an off shoulder top or floral print tops! The options will go on and on!

Even though my boots are hidden by the skirt, these pink ankle boots added a spring hue. Wearing anything with pastel is such a great color selection add fresh vibe to the look.

As for hairstyle, I have a major obsession with this camel hat and side braid. It's super easy yet effortlessly chic and cute. Such a lovely go-to hair style right now!

How would you wear naturals in spring? ♥
