Hi LOVEs! Happy Humpday!

Ever since I started my love affair with fashion, styling has been my biggest interest. This is especially important for me, since my body type makes it challenging to make the looks stunning due to my body structure (big face, long torso, and short legs). So how I put everything together is super crucial. Eekk, Being short can be a struggle! Plus, I was raised in a very strict family and was the oldest child, which meant I didn't get much allowance to shop for clothes when I was in teenager. Still, I didn't want to wear the same outfits over and over, so re-styling the same pieces and building a completely different look using what I had in my closet was my only solution.  I was truly fascinated with how styling could double my outfit options! Possibly more?

Over the last few weeks, I have been sharing how to style a body-con dress ( Isn't the lace detail amazing?!) This is the final installment! You can check

the first

,

second

, and

third look

if interested.

For the

4th look

, I went for preppy chic, using the dress as a skirt. This time, I opted for more grown-up and sophisticated look. I paired the dress with my seasonal all-time favorite piece: a

turtleneck sweater.

It is one of the perfect winter pieces and must-haves because of its versatility and you can effortlessly bundle up! I literally wear it every other day! haha

I love wearing anything with burgundy color in winter. It's not as bright as red, yet the wine color gives a nice ladylike flair. Also, the hue polishes off any look very nicely and sleekly, so I wore the burgundy fedora and OTK boots to complete the ensemble. Since I couldn't tuck the turtleneck in, I decided to tie a belt around my waist for more flattering effect.

Topping it off with a statement necklace is always a great idea!

I hope you like how I styled the dress, and hopefully you've got some inspiration of how you can style your own dress by switching out other pieces from your wardrobe! Pick up some oldies to put together! They will appreciate you for bringing their life back again! :)

Comment below to share which one is your favorite!

Wishing you all a wonderful and productive day!

Only 3 Days Left! ALEXANDER WANG x H&M

Hi LOVEs!
Now that fun and spooky Halloween is over. Was it crazy? I hope so! BUT in the fashion world, the excitement is still continued and even gets higher just because a long-awaited collection will be launched in only 3 days!!!!!
Who's more thrilled about ALEXANDER WANG x H&M collection than I am!?
Personally, around this time is by far one of the most exciting moments of the year!!!!! First, November 4th, which is tomorrow, is my birthday. Second, fall is my most favorite season. Third, my top favorite brand, H&M collaborates with an worldwide noted amazing brand for a new collection and it launches a few days after my birthday! Ever since the collection has been announced, fashion folks of course including me have been dying to catch a glimpse of the designs and itching to get their hands on the extraordinary pieces for their fall wardrobes. The collection is just so impressive with the sporty-inspired patterns, and I can't get over the epic, too-cool collection. Now, H&M has released all the items with pricing and details, and here are my picks and they definitely go to my shopping list this Thursday! (Click the image to jump to the H&M site for the details!)

I am not planning to get my hands on all of the above, but absolutely some of them. The boots and the crop sweater for sure!!!!!!

I'd like to share some tips on how to shop the collection this Thursday in Seattle store, based on my experience last year for Isabel Marant collection.

Where to Shop It:
H&M Downtwon Store
520 Pike Street, Seattle WA 98101
< Or store locater here >

When to Go:
When it comes to the exclusive collaborative collection, stores will open their doors at 8 am. H&M will be doing their bracelet system again, where the first 420 shoppers in line at the store will be provided a colored bracelet denoting what time they'll be able to shop. BUT don't get there like 15 mins before the doors open. Guess what time I arrived last year? THREE AM IN THE MORNING!!!! and I was the 10th one on the first batch, however, I wasn't able to grab what I really wanted, so I highly recommend to arrive the store before three if you don't wanna miss anything!
Groups of 30 will be given only 15 mins to shop, so do some homework for what you really want to get!

Other Info
You are limited to buy the same products up to 2, and you have SEVEN DAYS from your purchase date to return for a full refund with your original receipt, none of the accessories is returnable.
It will be a long waiting and freezing, so get cozy with an blanket and bring an extra scarf or sheet to spread under the butt while waiting, and don't catch a cold lol. Go with someone who has a car or live close by. That way you can keep unnecessary things (blankets, books, etc...) in there, and you are ready for the shopping survival!

Hopefully, these tips are helpful to you and I can't wait to show you what I get from the collection!!!
Happy shopping ♥

Some of my current crush colors are pastels, so when I was looking into the 2013's fall/winter trends, I am so pleased to learn that the pastels will continue to be a big trend!  I definitely agree with that because they are so pretty, are so tasty, and so girly! Who in the world would hate these colors, right?  I am already excited to shop for my fall/winter clothes in pastels and style them up with a mint-colorblocking, metallics, and other things to make an unexpected style!!!!

I found this lovely minty high-low dress at a local ROSS, I seriously couldn't wait to wear it!!!! The dress itself has a huge impact and totally embraces my girly summer look, while at the same time helping me to stay cool in the remaining summer weather. What's my most favorite thing about this dress? It's very fascinating and appealing when the wind blows.... You can easily imagine that, can't you?

Although this outfit is already impressive by the dress alone, I wanted to elevate my look by mixing it up with some accessories.
The chunky clear earrings and the fresh white bag add a summer touch, and wearing the brown Steve Madden belt can elongate my height. On top of that, I chose a pair of nude wedge sandals so that I can generate the magic of my legs looking longer!!!

Oh I have one more magic trick for you to make your legs skinnier!
Just wear any anklets!!!
(This time I transformed my bracelet into an anklet!)
Though they won't make a huge statement, they are definitely a great piece to upgrade your whole look!!!

Hope you like/love my minty dress and hopefully the anklet magic will work for ya too!

P.S. I am extremely in love with my new purple ombre hair!
So many people have already given me some sweet compliments and are jealous of it! haha
