Hi LOVEs!!! Happy Friday!!!
One of the favorite things in spring is definitely to enjoy a day with a pretty view of blooming flowers wherever I go. At a park, neighbors, and random streets. Literally everywhere. Yesterday while I was running a little errands, I came across adorable cuties on the way. So I had to stop and took a snap of it! This little happiness always gives me a positive vibe and puts a big smile on my face naturally.

Wearing floral prints is another way to amuse myself with the season. And these 70's inspired floral printed pants are absolutely on point! The color is so uplifting, the fabrics are so stretch that I feel like I am wearing a pj, and I love the big flower prints! The lengths are flattering for petites even though you have to wear a pair of platforms, which I don't mind that at all. Yay to longer legs! I paired them with a simple black cropped top to make the pants pop and also to show a bit of skin for a great amount of sexiness. I wore this on Easter so I added pastel blue mini bag to celebrate the holiday.

As the weather gets warmer, I opt to play with my hair like top buns, ponytails, or side braids...The options are endless and it's actually somewhat significant to style your hair because one look can be changeable depending on your hairstyles! Whenever my whole face is showed, adding a pair of statement earrings is a must.  Recently JJ Caprices gifted these gorgeous jeweled earrings when I had a meeting with her and I instantly fell in love with them. Too lovely to take them off! Loving the color-blocking action going with crystals and silver accents!! Her boutique offers one-of-a-kind pieces, and that makes me feel even special to wear these earrings! I highly recommend to visit her store if you love amazing, unique and handmade jewelry around the world.
Don't forget to enjoy a special code, "AIKASLOVECLOSET" for 15% off of your order!
Also, she is having a special trunk show on April 25th at Hotel Max featuring global finds and new arrivals from over 10+ countries including Turkey, Italy, Israel, Peru, Costa Rica, France, India and more. So if you are in the city, come check out her newly added pieces and grab a special gift for your mom! :)

Hi LOVEs!!! I hope your week has been going awe-some so far!!! <3

Who loves '(faux) leather'??  ME! Who adores 'overalls'?? ME! So who's more than happy if they are all combined? Yes, me! lol

I am so pleased to now own one of the pieces I've been having my eyes on, which is a

faux leather overall dress

! I got it from a cool online store called

Petit Sesame

, where you can buy a wide selection of luxury yet affordable designer items.

This overall dress is simply so cute because I can be effortlessly chic once I put it on. These straps are adjustable so it can fit perfectly on any girl, even like myself as a petite gal. I appreciate it has pockets (Three!), so I could just wear it for running errands or getting a quick coffee with my phone and credit card or cash, while remaining little stylish :)

I wanted to go for a completely winter preppy chic, so I styled it with a navy striped turtle neck and

over-the-knee boots

. These items are always perfect to achieve a preppy look during this season! Then, I put on a gray beret hat with hair tucked in the sweater to play up the vibe. Even though it was pretty warm on the day I wore this look, I needed an outerwear for a chill night. I chose my pastel biker jacket to brighten up the mostly all-black look and also match with my

new icy blue mini bag

! I just can't get over when my jacket and a bag are complementing their color with each other.

I can't wait for a warmer wether to style this overall dress showing off my skins more!

Petit Sesame

is now offering up to 80% off right now, so don't miss this perfect time to snag some of fab designers item including my

lovely faux overall dress

I hope you like/love how I styled it!

Hi LOVEs! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Today's look is all about layering and edginess, and this is definitely one of my favorite ensembles in all-black with a touch of color. People tend to wear dark colors during winter, and so do I. However, I love playing with some hues and making the look both edgy and fun. That way, I don't feel dull and sad. This is especially when you live in a gloomy and rainy city like I do!

I'd been on the look-out for a chunky v-neck pastel sweater for the longest time, and I finally found it on sale at

ZARA

a while ago. I normally wear  a small size, but decided to go with one size up for an extra bulky silhouette. At the same time, I scored this

light maxi wrap skirt on sale

as well. It's impressive that I can rotate the slit to whatever position I want to! I can put it on the side, front, or back. I adore the combination of an oversized knit with a maxi skirt. Since I had scored the perfect pieces, I figured I should try it on right away, yet it's way too cold right now to wear the skirt by itself, so I paired it with leggings underneath. I love the contrast of their different textures. Whenever I wear a maxi skirt/dress, I always style it with a pair of platform shoes to add some extra height. I picked my all time favorite booties for the added slimming effect.

You can never go wrong with a

biker jacket

to create an edgy vibe. And if you have a printed black and white scarf, that's even better to emphasize the vibe. These items aldo help you beat the cold. To complete this edgy look,  I opted for a

dark red lip stick

, and of course my awesome hair is doing such an awesome job!

Hi Loves!

It's unusual that I post at night, but today was crazy busy all day long. I just got home from an event hosted by

Ben Bridge

for their newly launched collection, called

Lisa Bridge Collection

! (The blog post is coming soon!) This is my first chance to sit down, relax and write this post.

What's your favorite piece for the winter season? Mine is definitely this furry vest c/o

TOBI

. I had been searching all around for one for the last few years, and nothing really caught my eye until I came across this cute pale pink fur vest. For some reason, I've been so into pale pink colors lately. So no wonder I am so in love with this vest over the other ones out there.

Fur vests are such an amazingly versatile item that I feel every girl ought to have one in her closet. While it can be totally wearable on a daily basis  (like how I put it together in today's look), you can also dress it up like

this one

when I wore it for my New Years Eve look. If you are getting tired of a regular biker jacket ensemble, get a fur vest! :) It will instantly elevate your look and kick it up another level with its fun and sophisticated effect. This is one of my go-to outfits, and you can see what it is doing for today's look! I am pleased that you can layer up the vest just like a scarf. Even if you take an outer layer off, you can actually put the vest back on for extra warmth and still remain looking chic. It's double yays!

With the fur vest, I mixed up with my new recent purchases (

top c/o Shoproxx

,

skirt from Romwe

, and

booties from F21

) and my oldie items. These wine red booties has been my BFF for a while! I can't get enough of how sleek they look from the side!

By the way, I adore how

Wendy of

Wendy's Look Book

styled her faux fur vest with her tiered dress and over-the-knee boots! Even though she wore it back in October, I think this could be a cute transitional spring look if paired with a brighter color palette. I will try the "style challenge," taking inspiration from her look once I find a lovely tiered dress! Don't you think it will be fun??

I hope you like/love how I styled my beloved winter item!

Hi LOVEs!! Happy Veterans Day!
Hope you kicked off the new week super fabulously!
I don't know if I have ever mentioned it, but I have always been into mens-inspired looks and girl-meets-boy mixups. Unfortunately, I haven't had enough opportunities to show such styles to you (at least not as much as I want), so here you go!

I scored this amazing oversized blazer at Buffalo Exchange last year, and it's been my ultimate favorite during this time of the year. It helps me easily achieve a sophisticated look as soon as I throw it on. I am super petite with narrow shoulders, which makes it difficult to find an ideal blazer that is well-fitting, especially when it comes to an oversized one. So I am glad to have this one and I will keep it forever in my closet! This look was styled with my old wardrobe, which proves that you don't have to get new things to create an on-trend look!
To pull off this masculine-inspired look, I just combines with classic staple items together: white shirt, skinny jeans, and lace-up heels. Oh, and you can't forget to add a fedora hat to compliment the look. That's what makes this look polished! You could swap these heels for a pair of oxford or ankle boots for even more tomboy effect. I personally love mixing things up with heels to add some height to my look. (Just because I really don't want to look short and it's important to make up for my short legs!!!) A few things I always keep in mind when I go for man-like looks is not to forget to add a hint of feminine touch. So this time, I topped off with statement earrings, a pop of red lips and a lavender bag.

I seriously need to start hunting for more cute fedoras to wear this season! Any recommendations of where to shop at?
Have a good one, lovelies ♥

Hi LOVEs!
Yay! Weekend is finally here!
Today's post is going to be short and sweet. When I was looking through the pictures from fabulous Fashion Week for the last few months, Eva Chen's black and white number print dress really caught my eyes and right on time I found a similar dress on Ami Clubwear. (Unfortunately it's sold out :( ) The print is just awesomely unique, yet head-turner, isn't it?! I always can't take my eyes off anything with amazing prints and details! My style is all about uniqueness, and this dress definitely embodies that feature. Even though this is a bodycon dress, which is considered to be worn for nigh out, I wanted to create a day look with it. So I simply paired it with this awesome pastel biker jacket and a white clutch bag with inspiring quotes on the both side. Since the print makes the dress edgy and cool, I went with stunning faux leather booties, also courtesy of Ami Clubwear, to complete the look. I extremely adore the details all over the shoes, especially the heel part!

It could be fun to style up the dress in a different way with a chunky knit, sheer tights, and killer booties for another day look!

Happy weekend everyone!

Hi LOVEs!
If you know me well enough, you know I love playing around with prints and bright colors. However, ever since this season's trends have been revealed, I have recognized that impact of simple and basic items. I just can't stop incorporating them into my daily looks. Today's look is absolutely one of my favorites!

By the way, what are your favorite trends this fall and winter? Of all the hot trends right now, I am obsessed with the pastel and retro feeling from the 60's, and I can't get enough of that 90's classic style. So I decided to combine both in this outfit, and it totally worked out! I recently got this cropped turtleneck sweater from H&M, and it's just so perfect to pull off the 90's vibe instantly. The item has become a staple piece in my wardrobe now. I am literally wearing it right now even as I am writing this!
I paired it with my vintage high-waisted shorts and two new items from Ami Clubwear: yellow pointy toe pumps and a lavender tote mini bag. I love how they give the outfit a 60's vibe, so to emphasize it further I added a pair of ankle socks. The temperature is dropping now, and wearing pumps with bear feet give me a chill. Yet, wearing tights would be too hot and dull during the day. That's why adding a pair of socks is season appropriate and gives you a touch of chicness. Even it helps to upgrade your fall look.

You may have noticed a little change in my hair, huh? Yes, I spontaneously chopped off my hair!!! Haha. Just kidding, instead I found a super easy way to style a bob hair style without cutting off your beautiful hair! Just wear a turtleneck (It's super trendy and snuggling!), and don't pull your hair out from the collar! It doesn't sound like it would work out, so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it! I really like easy hairstyles that produce a wow factor.

Have a lovely day, cuties!

Hi LOVEs!!!
How was your Labor Day weekend? I hope it was fun and amazing, or at least that you could get some rest like I did!!

Wow... Can you believe that summer is coming to an end soon? I wish summer occurred twice a year so that I could enjoy summer looks for longer! I still have tons of summer outfit inspirations in mind, while at the same time I am transitioning my light summer wardrobe into cozy and snug items! But for now, until the temperatures start going down, I gotta take advantage of these last days of warm weather in all of my favorite summer clothes!

I finally had a chance to hang out with one of my dear friends/photographers, Teban when he was back in town! (He is always traveling around!!) Even though it was a brief get together, we had a great time photoshooting like always and grabbed a very delicious dinner at an Italian restaurant called Pizzeria Credo afterwards! Today I am sharing the second look we shot! (Stay tuned for the first outfit later when he comes back from his vacation!)

Mostly what I am wearing in this look are items that I snagged on sale this month from ZARA, and I really love them so much. They are great just because they are stylish -- they were incredibly friendly to my wallet, too! I decided to combine them all together, and this look is both playful yet chic for the summer! The beaded neck top is very pretty and elegant when seen from the front, while showing a flirty and dramatic flare from the behind. These paint brush pint trouser is super artistic, and they will definitely be fun to mix up with some fall clothes! I was so happy to finally get my hands on a pair of patent navy heels and am in love with how simple they are, yet so chic from any angle. All girls should have patent pumps and heels in their closet! They can add a touch of sophistication to any look! ZARA shoes are always so on point! I think everyone knows that :) Now I have a matching pair with my favorite Rebecca Minkoff patent bag!!!

I decided to style my hair in lightly curled ponytail to accentuate the girly vibe a bit more and also to highlight the bead part of the top. This is a super easy hair style, like 5 min up-do, and if you want to achieve a cooler and edgier side, do it without curling your hair!
I can't think of a better outfit to make sure that I end the summer with a bang!

Hi LOVEs!!

I finally have the chance to show you one of my favorite looks and a favorite photo set done with @

Asian_Impressions

! I really love how he snapped precious and happy moments so beautifully in each image.  We were so lucky to find a glass area with these lovely daisy flowers all over the place and they magically blended into my look as a perfect backdrop for summer.

Who said that you can't wear a knit during this summer season? I snagged this bright orange oversized knit a white ago at

ZARA

, and seriously I am obsessed with a juicy pop of orange!

ZARA

is still carrying a lot of

vibrant knitwear

and I am digging all of them! Even though here in Seattle we've been having such unexpected sunny weather, we still have to accept the gloomy and unhappy climate once in a while. However, when I wear this amazing vivid knit on such days, I become very happy and it keeps me away form the chill at the same time! I colorblocked with lilac skinny jeans and styled them with same hued wedge sandals to elongate my legs. Some people love wearing simple looks such as black and white. I totally understand that and love the style, of course. Yet, wearing bright colors is also something I can't get away from because it's fun, eye-catchy, and very seasonally appropriate. On top of that, it naturally creates pleasant feelings and help you give you more confidence. Don't you think so? I really want to play with more prints, colors, and combinations like these over this summer!

Since the pants are pastel, I went with stacking pastel bracelets and a pastel orange clutch bag. Then, I finalized my look with some silver accessories to give a little bit of an edgy vibe.

I am now teaming up with

David Barton Gym

for their

#LookBetterNaked

campaign for three months! I visited there for the first time last Saturday, and WOW! It's the fanciest gym I've ever seen!! I will post a bunch of photo updates such as the inside of the gym, workouts, outfits, and etc on my Instagram (@

AikasLoveCloset

), so make sure to follow me to keep updated! :) It will be super exciting and I can't wait to see how healthy I will become (and look!) over the next few months!!

Hi LOVEs!!!! Happy hump day!

Thanks to the spring season, I've been totally into wearing lots of pretty colors and spring dresses lately! I hated that the weather last week was terrible! It was like a return to winter cold last Monday.... However, I am super happy to have the real spring weather back this week in Seattle! Yesterday was amazingly warm and beautiful with no chilly wind, so I took advantage of it to shoot at Discovery Park! Lots of nature and a bunch of pretty daisies blooming in the window sills!! :)

Speaking of spring dresses, I loooooooove this pastel yellow skater dress courtesy of Charlotte Russe! I was about to look for a dress in pastel so it arrived JUST in time! The cutout in the back adds the right amount of the sex appeal, which I love the most about this dress! I actually didn't have anything that has a nice cutout on the back so it's double yays for me! Since the length turned out a bit longer, I wore the belt to adjust it! It look perfect now!
This denim jacket has been one of the must-have items for spring, and I have two -- one light and dark color! I chose the lighter one for this look so it goes with the dress flawlessly. I slipped on a pair of pastel strap sandals (loving the ombre lucite heels!) and can't get enough of how they complete the whole look with the dress!
Charlotte Russe is one of my favorite wallet-friendly online stores and they always carry a great selection of cute and fab dresses plus other cool stuff! Unfortunately, this dress is no longer available, but I highly recommend checking them out now and then! I bet you will have a nice shopping experience!!! <3

Can I talk about a little bit jewelry I am wearing on today's look? The four pieces on me today - pearl necklace, butterfly bracelet, chain bracelet, and midi rings - are from Modern Trend. My Instagram (@aikaslovecloset) friend owns the online store. Her jewelry is always superb, and I can't help but liking her stuff on her Instagram (@jesscafang). I finally was able to buy her amazing pieces early this month and have been in love with all of them! You should definitely follow her on Instagram and check her online store as well! Make sure to keep eye on some good deals with a lovely discount (because I grabbed mine at a 50% off discount! Scored!)

Have a lovely day

Hi LOVEs! Happy April <3

This week was April Fool's... Did you trick your friend somehow?? lol  It's so funny how I've seen every year on Facebook that at least one friend will change his/her status to be in a relationship and I totally believe it! And yes... I fell for an 'April Fool' lie again this year! :p

I am so glad that now we can enjoy the recent beautiful weather in Seattle! No more gloomy and rainy days! (not all the time of course! It's STILL Seattle...) You know, I am from Japan where there are  4 distict seasons, so experiencing the change of seasons really reminds me of Japan. Omg... I can't believe that it's been almost 5 years since I last went back to Japan. Around this time, the streets are filled with amazing blooms of cherry blossoms, and the scenery is just SPECTACULAR! I miss doing 'hanami' too (literal meaning in English is "flower viewing" - it's the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of cherry blossom with delicious food and drinks!)
The day I shot this outfit was a super lovely day... I could not stop dancing like a kid! It was so breathtaking how clear the azure sky was. I got this pastel yellow shorts suit within the last year, and the preasure of wearing a suit still continues this year. I shared a fall outfit featuring this suit with some layers. Now it's time to wear it alone!

I actually wore this look to a launch party, so I wanted to go for a dress-up style. I paired it with a black floral sheer top that could match these fabulous lace-up heels from Windsor! These heels are definitely must-haves for spring and summer to instantly add a big impact to your look.
When it came to choose some jewelry to finish the look, I chose a crystal necklace and transparent earrings to add extra sparkles!  I think they beautifully frame my face. I can't get enough of this black satchel bag that I took the strap off of to use as both hand bag and clutch! It's big enough to hold my long wallet and other necessities, yet it doesn't appear overly big. It's deceptively practical and just an awesome bag that you should have in your closet.

I am hoping to get another multi-piece suit soon this spring! <3
I am so excited to enjoy tonight at my FIRST EVER event in downtown Seattle! :)

Hi LOVEs! How has your weekend been? I hope it's not as crazy as mine! <3
I spent my whole Saturday helping out with a friend's photoshoot -- and I was the stylist! This was a new opportunity for me! For a long time I have wanted to do styling, but I really didn't have a chance until yesterday. When he asked me to help, I was hesitant to take the opportunity, but I am glad I did! Even though I am confident about my styling, I was still worried about how well I could do as a stylist... In the end, I totally enjoyed working with the crew and had so much fun styling the model!! I can't wait to see the final results and share the photos with you guys! I snapped some BTS shots and posted on my Instagram, so take a look if you are interested! :)

When ZARA finally launched in Seattle about a month ago, I just HAD to go to the launch party to check them out! Oh my goodness... It was super crazy busy at the entire store! Still, I had a nice shopping time and snagged some great pieces, which I am wearing for today's outfit!
This beautiful pastel yellow with floral printed sweatshirt caught my eyes right away, as if it was calling me far from distance! It's definitely an ACNE sweatshirt inspired top that I'd been looking for and is also easy on my wallet. I get so many compliments every time I wear it! :) You can't ignore the pastel color trend right now, and I am obsessed with this beautiful light yellow color. Isn't it so pretty?? I really love how versatile this top is. There are so many ways to rock it. Not just wearing as a top or dress; you can also layer up.

For today's look, I wore it as a dress top pairing with light blue jeans. Since I didn't want to cover the amazing floral prints, I decided not to wear anything over it and wore fur collar scarf to keep warm from the chilly spring breeze. I threw on a fedora and a pair of leather ankle boots to add a touch of coolness. The white clutch with an awesome fashion-related quote is also from ZARA and compliments the look perfectly. White is such a great color right now for transitioning dark colors to bright colors. Also, adding a white color can instantly change the whole look into a fresh and spring-appropriate ensemble. So if your outfit appears to be dull or you think it is not bright enough for a spring look, you just need to switch an item to white or add anything crisp! Then you will look 'springly' FAB!!!!

Happy Sunday lovers!
