3 Ways to Wear A shirt Dress // Final Look: A Trench Coat

Weather around this time is very fluctuating. That makes it so difficult to figure out how to dress every day. On some days, we still need some layers. Here is the final look of how you can rock a shirt dress in 3 ways with totally different styles and vibes.

Hi LOVEly readers! Happy Halloween!
Hope you all had a fun and amazing Halloween weekend! :) I was very overjoyed with my Halloween this year! First, my boss took to me to a pumpkin patch, which I had never done before, and I really liked the field where I could pick and choose among so many different kinds and colors of pumpkins. Then, he hosted a huge Halloween party last weekend! I was his main assistant, acting as a photographer and mingling with the guests, but also he gave me the responsibility to put on a fashion show of costumes at the party! For my first costume I dressed up as a naughty feline femme fatale, and my second costume was as a Geisha, which is a costume I have wanted to do for a long long time!! My boss also invited a professional photographer to the party so that the guests could have professional photographs taken of their fabulous costumes! Of course I had a bunch of pictures taken at the booth. So don't forget to scroll down to see both of my costumes!!!

I wore this following outfit for a TOPSHOP launch event last week and my inspiration was Halloween. I added the wide-brimmed fedora (think witch chic) from Free People  and I accessorized myself with both spiky and Haloween-inspired jewelry such as snake, skull and spider rings, a horn necklace, geometric earrings. I added  a touch of dark purple color to my lips to emphasize a Witch touch.

I love how my knee high socks and these Steve Madden platform pumps go well together and I really appreciate the fact that they make my legs look longer. These heels are not meant for shopping for hours, but you know how I am. I love CRAZY shoes that catch people's eyes! After I finished shopping, my feet were completely dead but I really love how these heels can bring out the Witch vibe.

Who in the world would think to combine camouflage and witch look together? ME!!!! lol
I wouldn't have expected that they could ever go well together, but look how it turned out! I really love it and love that this outfit has a sense of femininity thank to the pleated skirt!

Hope you enjoy my today's look, LOVEs!!!
I took some pictures at the event at Bellevue Square Topshop, so hopefully I can share them with you soon!

Okay, now it's time to talk about Halloween!
What do/did you guys dress up as?
Here is my Naughty Cat & Geisha costume!!!

Please enjoy my costumes!!!!

I had purchased a cat costume for my first Halloween in 2008. Since then, I had worn it in 2010 and 2011, and now I am so tired of the same costume, yet I didn't wanna spend a bunch of money for an outfit I could only wear one day a year. So I re-styled everything, by using the cat ear headband and bow collar.

Bustier: Forever 21
Tutu: Rented
Red Mesh Tights: a local store
Fur cuffs: ASOS
Booties: Jeffrey Campbell

What I like the most about this look is my hair! I managed to style my hair fabulously, didn't I?

As for the Geisha look, everything is rented.
I mentioned earlier in this post that my boss hosted a Halloween party, and his nice friend who owns a costume shop let us borrow whatever we wanted to pick. This Geisha costume was my pick. I had not planned to change my costume, but I always love to try a new thing and the Geisha costume was one of the top 5 costumes I've wanted to try whenever I had a chance!
I am really obsessed with this kimono so bad! Isn't it just so dramatic and gorgeous? No wonder it's worth over $200+. I couldn't find the obi (wide sash) to tie the kimono so I used the robe ribbon as the obi! lol It actually works huh?
I am so glad to finally get dressed up as a Geisha for my Halloween costume!!! All the guests completely loved my second costume more than my first one, and said that I reminded them of a Geisha from "Memoirs of a Geisha"!!

What do you guys think? :)

Thank you very much for reading today's long post, but I really hope that you enjoy it!!!!!
Have a freaky but fun Trick-or-Treating!

Hi LOVEly readers! It's been a while huh? I am very sorry! I took an awesome trip to LA and Las Vegas for a few days last week! It's been almost 3 years since I last visited LA, and it was my first time to go to Vegas!!!! I had a very memorable and enjoyable trip! I met up for the first time with a few sweet girls from IG (btw, follow my IG @aikaslovecloset, if you haven't yet!), and I was finally able to visit my friend's store in LA, called Moods of Norway!!!! I hope to write a future blog about this adventure because I'd like to share my awesome trip with you! :)

This look is DEFINITELY one of my favorites from this summer's looks! This camo print skirt is one of the pleasant pieces that I received in my recent Charlotte Russe care package, and I just fell in love with this skirt. How could I not? Camo prints are still hot right now, and I really love how cute this skirt is!!!! I might have bought camo print pants or tops, but I never thought of a skirt! Camo prints tend to create more of an edgy or funky vibe, but this skirt doesn't lose its sweet and endearing style! So, I decided to style it up with a lovely crop top and a baby pink cardigan to accentuate the sweetness even more. I believe that this outfit looks great with OR without the cardigan! As I found out before in my precious other camo look, the combination of red with camo prints is such a great match. Without a doubt, this crop top and camo skirt  go perfectly together!

To top if off, I mixed it up with studded detail sandals from ALDO (I love them so much!), black folded clutch, and the round mirrored sunglasses from Free People. By adding these three items, I toned things down and infused a touch of sassy without taking away from the overall sweetness of the outfit.

You can still get this camo skirt at the Charlotte Russe online store!
Now you can buy it at $4.49; original price was $10.99! What a deal!!!!
Don't miss it! You'll love it!

Thank you very much for the awesome camo skirt, CR!!!! I am in love with it so much! <3

Hope you like/love this sweet camo look!

Hi my lovely readers! Happy Friday again! I am going out for dinner with my friend tonight at my favorite Japanese restaurant, so I am very very excited. Due to my busy schedule, I was unable to go there for such a looooong time!!! Hope you, too, are planning many nice things to do for your Friday night!

This photos were taken a few weeks ago by Oveth , a Seattle-based photographer. He lives in Bellingham, but he came down to Seattle for an interview with a model agency. I am very happy that he reached out to me to collaborate on this photoshoot. I really enjoyed the photoshoot with him and am especially pleased with how the photographs came out. We didn't particularly select the locations in advance, but my outfit and the scenery  are nicely coordinated with the background.

I had never owned a camo jacket until I found this amazing two-tone jacket at Urban Outfitters (Similar). I'd been searching for several months, but I always ended up not being able to find the ideal one, so just look at this cool camo jacket I got! All that time searching  really paid off, dontcha think? Just putting it on gives a cool edginess to my look! In addition, I really love how the Camo jacket really goes together with my red lipstick! I believe it is one of my favorite combinations!
Since the camo jacket has a really outstanding pattern, I wanted to style the inner clothes very simple but still fun and edgy! I never tried to pair the bustier/bralet (Similar) in this kind of way (to wear it over a top), and I really like how it creates a different look of "jean-on-jean" outfit.

Also, lucite heeled shoes are SO in vogue right now. I just gotta say, I LOVE THESE CRAZY BOOTS soooo much! When I found them online at Charlotte Russe ( YES! They are ONLY available online & you can buy them HERE!), I couldn't help but buy them because they are simply AWESOME! Whenever I wear them, people just look at the shoes and pay me compliments, which makes me super duper happy! I paired my new H&M clear earrings with this outfit to match up with those booties as well :)

Thanks again, Oveth for the awesome photo shoot!
Hope you like/love my camo look~ <3
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!
