No matter the season, neutral tones are always one of the top color trends that everyone gravitates towards. It creates the perfect fall vibe of snug, toasty, warm - all sorts of autumn feelings. The camel hue especially, and instantly, adds luxe and a well-made feel to any piece. No wonder this color is such a timeless color as it meshes well with almost every other color, from basic to bold, even my pink hair.
Whenever you are tired of wearing all black or dark tones mirroring the gloomy weather, switch even one item for a piece with a neutral color, and the whole vibe changes! Trust me, it does!
As I wore this look for the Blue Nile blogger event, a world’s leading diamond jeweler, I wanted to wear something feminine and sweet. I paired a high waist midi skirt with a fluffy top ( I call it a teddy top! ) I really love how pearl accessories ( pearl collar necklace & pearl earrings ) complement this camel on camel combo. I topped it off with a fluffy white beret and white ankle booties instead of a black pair to keep the look charming and lovely.
I wasn’t sure which bag I should go for, so I conducted a poll on Instastories. But special thanks to my bestie as she suggested, “What about the velvet bag you have?” I was like, “Girl, you know my closet way better than I do, lol. I am in love with the little pop of color in my bag, which is blue velvet. Not only that, anything in velvet is a must-have this season and thanks to this perfect textured soft fabric, it adds a perfect luxe detail to any look.
